Full Description & Details

After riding around on our bikes for a while, we stopped and sheltered from the rain. It seemed as though there were some kind of firework display, and we spoke about how it felt as though we were in Vietnam or somewhere. After we had rested, we decided we should continue. (The reason that we were there in the first place was, I must admit , to steal some of the fantastic ferns that they have in the park). We came upon a hut that had been out of use for some time and I took it upon myself to have a look inside. My brother whom I was with got a little spooked and started off... I followed in the darkness and we continued to ride around for a short while. All I can remember from that point is my brother shouting "DON'T GO THAT WAY". I pulled the brake on my bike and saw before me a sheer drop. I could not stop myself from going over, and after the front wheel hit the floor, my head followed. I thought at that point that I had broken my neck and lay on the ground thinking I was about to meet my maker.

I felt I could not catch my breath and could not answer my brother as he stood over me asking "are you ok?".

I turned my head to the left and saw a flouresent figure floating across in the darkness.

Thinking, I was on my way out, and having seen the movie 'Ghost', I thought I was going to be whsiked off by some entity and i was alone. DEAD.

I then heard him say "What's that?".

All of a sudden I could breath, I could talk.

I remember myself asking him if he could see what I was seeing. I even asked him "Am I dead?" as I still lay there twisted within the frame of my bike.

I sat up... I felt fine... WE sat and watched as this 'Glowing thing' moved slowly toward the right. Then we both said at the same time "Look there's two of them". It seemed to have divided/split. It moved in a way that was strange. It seemed to 'skate' over the ground, becoming one then becoming two until it faded away.

At this point I felt fine and wanted to follow and I encouraged my brother to do so too.

We went to the last point that we had seen the 'thing', and we ended up at a gate that lead us onto the main road. We rode home as fast as we could, and i could feel no pain in my neck until the next day, and for two weeks after that, I had real trouble even turning my head.

Once i had recovered, we plucked up the courage to return to 'the scene' and noted that what we had seen must have been much more distant than we had seen. Since there were hedges and trees that would have obscured the 'vision'.

We try not to talk about it!

Since then I have had many ufo sightings. some alone. some with witnesses.
