Full Description & Details

I was a passenger driving home with a friend and noticed a ball of light that was very bright flying towards us from the escarpment. We stopped and got out of our car to take a better look. This is where we became frightened that it might be a aeroplane on fire, but we concluded that if that was the case it proobably would not of continued to fly. The U.F.O. was silent, so we new it was not any kind of air craft that we were aware of considering we have frequent air traffic. Once we realised we had no explanation of what it was, we quickly got into the car to drive home which was not far away and showed my friends mother what we had seen. By this time the U.F.O. was further out to sea but it appeared to be staying still untill it dissapeared out to sea, whch we thought was strange considering that no kind of aircraft in our area ever follows this direction.
