Size of Object(s)About 5 times as big as a bright star Distance to Object(s) & AltitudeApproximately 10 kilometers Shape of Object(s)Orb Color of Object(s):Bright orange Full Description & DetailsI received a phone call from my brother whilst I was eating dinner at 8:15pm, and he told me to go outside and look at the sky. I looked up and noticed six bright orange lights moving slowly across the sky in formation, travelling from the north-west towards the south-east. The objects came from the direction of Melbourne International Airport. They were moving more slowly than a plane or helicopter, were about 1000 metres in the air, and made absolutely no sound. Also, they stayed in their exact formation the whole time. Eventually, they got dimmer as the went further south-east and faded out. I rang a radio station to report it and the person I spoke to said that others had rang to report it as well. Witness BackgroundI am a second year PhD student studying economics at RMIT University in Melbourne Australia.
