Full Description & Details

I was sitting in my living room watching TV. My couch is oriented such that to my right I can see out through a large window, looking out over the small patch of urban parkland near my apartment building. It was night, and conditions were clear. I happened to glance outside, and and lround, bright yellow object came across my field of vision, from somewhere above my window. It streaked acroos the sky very, very fast, and I lost it as it flew over the trees that my window looks out upon. I feel that this was an UFO because: The object was moving very, very fast, much fast than a plane or helicopter would. After I thought about it, I considered that it might have been a meteorite, but in my experience meteorites have tail, and this object had no tail, it was just an orb moving through the sky. I live in a very urban area, just outside of Washington, D.C., so I'm very used to seeing planes and helicopters of all types and at all times of day, and this was completely different. The fastest things that usually move across the sky here are the fighter jets, and they are extremely loud. What I saw made no sound.
