Full Description & Details

We were in Delta, Alabama. It was early evening. The area is hilly. Rural. My friends and I were outside on a Saturday evening. Outside of my friends house. It was a very starry night. Not much moon light. We were talking and doing teenage stuff, and suddenly, out of a corner of an eye, I saw an odd movement in the sky. We we on top of a hill, so we had a panoramic view of the sky. I looked, and saw a pulsating light, moving across the sky, at about 30 degrees. I first thought it was an airplane, but it stopped moving. It just stopped. Then it broke apart. It seperated into two craft I guess. One pulsed bright light, and flew off to the north, toward Anniston,AL. The other stayed put. My friend went inside and got a paor of 50X binoculars, and we watched the craft. It was a craft, a saucer shaped craft, domed on top, with a flattened half dome on bottom. Lights spun around its perimeter, upper and lower part. It made no sound. That we could hear anyway. We were probably a mile away from it.

We observed for about 30 minutes. Then the other craft returned, very suddenly, but very deftly it re merged with its twin, and the craft dissappeared with out a sound.

This was one of three close encounters I had in this same general area in the early 1970,s. It is my understanding that there was a rash of sightings in this are during that time.
