Returned home from on call work at aprox 20:00 . Went out on back deck for a beer and a cigarette. I was looking in the sky as i ushally do in the evening watching Europe bound air trafic as this is when it is busiest when i noticed a not so bright white light traveling faster than ushual in a north south direction. I thought this was a satellite(i don't know if satellites travel north south ushualy) . The object travelled across the sky and out of view behind my large birtch tree. 5 to 7 seconds later I noticed another identical light traveling in the exact path as the first. It occured to me unushual that two satellites would be so close to one another . The path of these objects was between two rather bright stars which gave me reference. As the second object neared the center of the two "STARS" it's direction abruptly swung down to the lower star at abouy 90 deg around the bottom of it as though it was an object also and then up at about a 45 deg angle and faded out of sight (not behind a tree). Total movement time about 3 or 4 seconds from initial direction change.

I jumped out of my lawn chair and darted for the door out of suprise, then realizing how silly I would look to my wife i slowly went in and told her about it. Yes she called me crazy as one would expect. I then went out again to look and could not find the two bright "stars" that the object went to. I thought I should have easily spoted them again as there were no other bright stars in that part of the sky.
