Time 9.38PM to 9.50PM British Summer Time.

Weather Dry with cotton wool clouds and some blue sky.

Site 43 Stone Row, Malinslee, Telford, Shropshire, TF3 2HH.

This address is approx 600Ft above sea level and is situated on the eastern side of the hill.Therefore we were in shaddow but the sun had not yet set on the western side.

At 9.30PM I was in my back garden taking in the evening air. As I have stated at 9.38PM I was looking north when I spotted a stationary object lit up by the reflection of the sun. The distance was in the region of up to 50 miles and the length of the object was about 2.5 times the diametre of venus at her brightest,I am an ameteur astronomer, after a few seconds it moved from right to left, out of the sun and then turned towards me as a grey mass.It took until 9.50PM to reach me,about 800Ft above me. At this moment an RAF or MOD fighter/bomber type jet came up behind the space ship to take photos etc. They both went above the clouds and I lost sight of them.

I have tried to get details of the pilots report but with no success, so I write to people like yourselves to see if you can dig out any info from the British Govt.
