Full Description & Details

At 7:20pm I was discussing my car with the local mechanic outside his workshop on Medina avenue in Medina. At one point in the conversation I saw his attention drift as he looked above my right shoulder, I turned and looked (about a 60 degree angle) and saw a bright white object about the same size as a streetlight relatively speaking. Of course it was much bigger than that as it was so high up. It was leaving a bluish white smoke trail, the object and its smoke trail were heading west generally and downwards, but not in a straight line. It seemed to dance from side to side in an" M" shape then returned to its wobbly course of due west. The sky today has been clear all day but clouds have been gathering this afternoon. The temperature has been around 35 degrees Celsius and there has been no wind. I saw the object in a clear patch and watched it fall behind some clouds, expecting it to come through but it didnt. It was much higher than the clouds so perhaps it burnt up before falling to their altitude. If it had fallen out of sight it would have fallen into the ocean which was also out of my range of sight.

Other Comments

Perhaps the only thing that made me think it wasn't a meteor was the lingering trail. I'd never seen anything like it before.
