Full Description & Details

The movement of the object struck me as most notable. I am a single mother, graduating Summa Cum Laude in December and was celebrating with my family on vacation. As I drove early in the morning out of La Fortuna for the airport, I noticed the very shiny object. As I followed it with my eyes, it seemed to hover and move in an Eastern direction very slowly. When I tried to point it out to my boyfriend, it was too late as we had lost sight of it around several switchback curves. I would be very interested to know if other sightings occured on this day. I was reminded of this when watching the History Chanel tonight about UFOs and thought I'd go and see what I could find on Costa Rica, etc. I found a 1997 sighting/photograph 3 miles from Arenal (or La Fortuna) which is where we had just come from. Very interesting and exciting.
