Full Description & Details

Although I now reside in Spain, I was born and grew up un London (UK). I noticed a bright green object flying fast dew south as I was walking with friends down Kensington church Street in west London after a meal at a restaurant. The object was tear shaped a quite large. It made no noise at all. A friend which was with me also saw the object. Later that evening when I returned to my parents house, my father mentioned that he saw a green light flying through the sky also heading dew south at about the same time as I saw it. He saw it through the living room window.

It certainly was no airplane or blimp. A rough estimate on the altitude is between 3000 and 6000 feet. It seemed about the same altitude as the flying eye traffic plane which flies over London during the rush hour to report on traffic conditions. The size of the object was that of mid sized airplane. Comercial jets flying over London all the time due to the close vecinity of Heathrow airport and we are all quite used to seeing flaying craft over London. But this object was unlike anything I´ve ever seen.

I have spoken to very few people about this sighting and although I have also witnessed other things flying through the sky which were not airplanes, I think that others may have been reflections from orbital satalites or something similar because they were extremely high up. While living a time in central Spain (Ciudad Real) my familly and I would spend many nights on deck chairs watching lights move across the night sky in all directions and blink on and off. They were moving too slow to be shooting stars but I generally attributed them to comm or other satalites.
