Full Description & Details

I was driving North On Interstate 5 from LA to San Francisco. I noticed what I thought was a green light in a field. When I got even with the light, it seemed to stay to my right, but I wasn'nt passng it. It went verticallly up and down and horizontlally to my right away from my car. I was going about 70 miles and hour. Cars passed me very fast, and didn't think about that til later. Were they seeing it stay even with me? It finally went off in my right field of view (which was to the east, as I was travelling north.)

Part of me feels like I was just tired and I was imagining this. The other part of me feels it was something unusual. Perhaps someone else saw this on the same evening?
