while laying on the hood of my car parked in front of my house and looking up at a opening in the clouds where the blue sky was visable i watched a large boomerange shaped craft mooving out of the clouds and into the clearing of blue sky moveing east to west at a speed slightly faster than the clouds aproximatly 15 miles per hour. I would say the craft was aproximaly 1000 to 1500 feet off the ground. I was amazed by the crafts size i recall at the time knowing that it was wider than a football field posibly 500 feet across and 150 t0 200 feet from front to back. The craft was aproximatly the heighth of a 2 story building in the front all the way across slightly rounded on the top and bottom of the front of the craft, also on the front of the craft were 5 clear ports at the time i thought these ports were windows because i could see through them and it apeared to have a landing about half way up that was gray the same collor as the craft but know after seeing footage on tv of the lights that have been seen in the sky over other us states i believe these ports were actually lights aproximatly 20 feet in diamiter the lights also protruded out of the craft about 5 feet in the center and resembled a round head light on a car but much larger and what i thought was a platform half way up may have been a reflection due to the curviture of the light reflcting the interior collor of the craft from the sun being west or in front of the craft but due to the cloud cover the sun was not visable from my view. the craft was gun metal gray with no visable seams with 2 indentations across the bottom. the craft had no visable engins or propultion systems that were viable and made absolutly no noise if i hade not been looking up at the time it flew over i would never have known it was there. while watching this craft for aproximatly 20 seconds i yeled for my wife to come out of the house to see it but by the time she came out it hade flown into the cloud cover and was no longer visable about 20 minuts after seeing the craft i called the glendora police deartment and asked if there were any reports of flying objects reported over the area thier responce was no and i did not contact any other agencies. sence seeing the craft i have drawn pictures of it for family members and friends. after watching the report on abc news by peter jennings i went online to see if i could find any pictures of the craft that were close to what i saw and found a sight that showed a photo of kenneth arnold in 1947 holding a hand drawn picture of the craft i saw from a rear view and a photo taken by abbey parker in 2002 over england from a front view that is exact in shape to what yhe craft was that i saw. i am sending a hand drawn picture of the craft i sawalong with this report.
