disk shaped saucer with port holes and intense white triangular/cone shaped light below, hovering 50ft beside car in open field maybe 30ft alt. sloly moved over car -no noise and hovered on other side. rapidly took off over sea (1mile away) and soon returned at great speed. witnessed by many fishermen. returned for a minute or two close to me -no under light- then shot off towards woodbridge base where it crashed into trees at end of runway.

all similar to most 'rendlesham' accounts except the date formed the basis of the cover up. May well have been sighted in the loosely described 26-39th dec period but the crash took place much earlier and thats when investigations should start + question authenticity of some released documents.

Hotel proprietor at time mainly usaf guests.

Other Comments

Col. Halt and many others were very close witnesses but cover up started following day. Lots of pressure. Halt left to muddy the waters and change date, lose recordings, deny, dispatch witnesses etc. Investigation needs to start again if its the truth wanted.

Certain witnesses most definately did not work over Christmas 1980.
