Did not see the "object". I only saw the trail it was leaving behind.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

Started out high, went nearly to the ground, then went back up again and was gone.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Rural area in the middle of a five acre oak woods. There is an ethanol plant.

It was like watching a jet leave a trail but a jet cannot make these turns. It zig-zagged it's way down, disappearing behind the woods, and then came back up in a straight line and was gone. I did not see what was making the trail...... I just saw the trail appear, do it's thing and take off. I thought it was pretty strange because a jet can't make moves like that, so I picked up the digital camera and snapped a couple pictures. What do you think could have made this smoke trail?

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Yes, it could be some type of jet or something. It's just not something I know about so, in that case, I would find it odd and unfamiliar.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I think that we are foolish to think we are alone in this infinite space but whether or not we are being visited....... I don't know.
