Appearance / Description of Object(s)

short rectangle or square with a triangle on the end (kind of like a house shape but laying down). I saw the object at night. Couldn't make out the color, but it made a slight humming noise. Flew maybe a few hundred feet above the ground. It had lights on the bottom of it, but the lights didn't illuminate the ground, but they were visible.

Size of Object(s)

Didn't check to see what the relative size was. It appeared to be probably 100 or so feet long and maybe 30 feet wide.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

object was about 200 or three hundred feet in the air and about 100 feet in front of me.

Description of Area / Surroundings

It was a rural area in the country side. A hilly area.

Full Description & Details

I awoke and heard a strange humming noise. I looked out my window and saw the object. It was shocking. I went outside and looked at the object for 5 minutes or so. It was moving south very slowly. I went back inside and continued to look at it out my window. I don't remember falling asleep. I just woke up in my bed a few hours later. I remember thinking it was very strange that I fell asleep while witnessing such a thing. I never felt compelled to talk about this to anyone until now.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I doubt it.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I never gave it much thought prior to seeing the UFO. Now I believe that it is probable.

Have there been any other reports such as this in my area? What about the shape? Or the falling asleep afterwards?
