Size of Object(s)

well actual size based on the distance must have been enourmous as it was 3/4 inch across at a huge height in the sky, above clouds.

rural. No bases, no powerstations but there is a large mineral quarry 1 mile north

Full Description & Details

As above object was black. 3 red lights permanently on at each apex of triangle. It was too fast to have been a fighter jet. It was silent. It glided in a straight line from out at sea (the Irish sea) at a height of 10,000 Ft estimated.

It was large in size although very far away. Its direction was NW. It crossed the entire sky in a matter of seconds from SE to NW, I estimate 4 seconds. After 4 seconds it disappeared on the same course or else it turned the lights off! I have been to airshows and seen fighter jets but this moved so quickly it was hard to believe. It was the 1st time I saw a UFO. I was out fishing on Clugga Strand Beach at approx 3am. Its relative size would be about the size of a quater coin but very far away based on the sparse cloud cover which it was above. There was no moon that night if I remember correctly. It was cold with heavy dew about 8C. I was the only person around to see it.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I am a scientist by profession but I have no explanation. I first though it to be a stealth fighter but there was no sound and it traveled approximately 20-25 miles across the horizon in 4 seconds extremely fast and precisely

Never believed before. I am curious as to what it is I have no explanation and I am very rational. It defied the laws of physics. I have never seen anything move so fast without any noise
