It was a Sunday night in December early 1960's. we had gone out to buy a Christmas tree and we were driving home on Lowell Street in Peabody Ma when I saw illuminated object moving at tree top level. The object followed us approximately 1 mile and my mother, who was driving, drove into the North Shore Shopping Center parking lot (because it was well lit and she was very frightened), When we stopped, we saw the object hovering over us. I got out of the car and it was right above me and it was about the size of a house. It was white and glowing from within and had colored light around the perimeter. It did not emit any noise at all. I'm not sure how long we stood there looking up at it, but we both remember it leaving at an incredible rate of excelleration and disappearing. My mother was very shaken and would not talk about the incedent for years. About 5 years later, she finally admitted to the event and said that we returned home hours later than when we should have.

Witness Background

I am now 49 years old and I am a regional sales manager. I was around 10 years old when the incedent happened, however, the memory is still very vivid.
