We were stargazing in the backyard, facing east. Before the sighting we saw a satelite and a regular commercial airplane. Then, we saw a triangular shaped object traveling south-east. It was moving faster than an airplane. It was similar to an isosoleis triangle; the two longest sides were lined with atleast 6 lights each and the shortest side appered dark/transparent. It appeared to be as large as 2 1/2 moons. It was silently traveling low in the horizon.

I was a 14 year old runaway from Hollywood, Calif., along with my 17 year old boyfriend and my 15 year old girlfriend. We all came from broken homes and decided to leave together. We had no particular plans. We had camping equipment and a little cash. We drove north and ended up a few weeks later in Yosemite. We camped for awhile then headed east into Nevada.

Somewhere near Goldfield my boyfriend's car broke down at a crossroad with a gas station and restaurant. We were drinking coffee and trying to decide what to do when we were befriended by a hermit who called himself Haybag Johnson. He said he knew a place we could stay, took us to his cabin and fed us. The next day he took us to a deserted mine with an empty water tower and several wooden buildings. We set up camp. Haybag picked us up every night and took us to visit other old men living in the desert. We would play cards, drink very strong coffee, and talk.

One night we were driving "home" from a visit very late at night when the pick up truck ran off the road and into loose sand. We were completely stuck. We tried shoveling out, rocking the truck, and finally gave up. We figured we would walk out in the morning.

Meanwhile my friend Cherie and I got in the truck bed and started talking about flying saucers, as we called them then. We decided to call telepathetically and ask for help. We had never heard of anyone having a contact like that, or calling UFOs. We just sat in the back and looked up at the stars - and they were incredibly bright - and started saying something like, "Flying saucers, come help us," over and over.

Then we noticed what looked like a star moving toward us. At first it was no brighter than its neighbors, but as it drew overhead it became brighter and larger, as if it were dropping toward us. It got to about the size of a pencil eraser as seen on end. It was right above us, just a round light. Then, the truck slowly rose straight up, and moved over to the road and set down very gently. Then the light zoomed off the same way it came from and disappeared.

When the truck moved I started screaming. I was scared. We all drove back to the mining camp and talked about what happened the rest of the night. We couldn't sleep. The next day sheriffs came because they were looking for bank robbers and someone said they had seen activity at the camp. So we were caught and returned home.

I ended up moving to New York that year, and I never saw either of my friends again until I found Cherie on the Internet in about 1999. I called her and the very first thing she said to me was, "Tell me about that night in the desert, what do you remember?" I told her what I recalled, and she said the same thing. The only difference was she remembered laughing while I remembered screaming. She said she always kept her phone listed under her maiden name so it would be easier for me to find her so we could compare notes on that night.

There was no missing time, no little gray men, no other contact, just a truck moving out of the sand on onto the road with the bright white light overhead. There were no beams, or strange feelings, or aftereffects. When we thought about it later we said thank you.

Since then I've seen a low flying bolid, but only one other thing I could say was unidentified. I was driving in south on Highway 11 in Oconee County, South Carolina around 1995. It was just before dusk. I noticed a strange looking cloud low over an overpass I was driving toward. The first thing I thought was, "It's too dense." Then from out of the cloud there flashed a series of five or six strobe-like lights in a horizontal line, they went one, two, three, four, five, five, four, three, two one. I drove up on the overpass and stopped the car, got out and looked up. Nothing. Just dense cloud at about tree top level. When the lights flashed I flashed my car lights back in the same pattern. Nothing else happened and I drove home. My husband did say about a week later he saw what at first he thought was a brightly lit semi trailer truck floating over a road near our house, but to this day he refuses to talk about it.

Although I've read about many sightings, I've never heard of one exactly like mine. Every once in a while I'm tempted to go find a quiet area and see if I can contact anything. But I'd feel like an idiot. So I haven't.

The craft was conical in shape very light pale silver with a light orange energy source at the base. It was the movement of this craft that alerted us to the fact it was not something which corresponded to the principles of flight and propulsion which we are used to. it could immediately come to stop and perform an airbourne vertical take off without banking reving up engines it was so agile and light. It was when this craft literally shot up into the sky at incredi ble speed without sound that we knew without a shaddow of a doubt we had just witnessed something amazing

My buddy and me were changing his truck tire and I was standing there speaking to him while he was tighting the lug nuts, I was looking into the sky as I usually do and to my surpise I saw something weird flying in the distance sky. I said to my buddy that there is something in the air and not sure, he looks and says is that a seagull haha knowing here in Kentucky no seagulls fly around here.

So we kept on looking for 1-2 minutes and he said look there are two more objects flying behind the first one, they began to fly closer to eachother unlike anyother aircraft in the area. Estimated they were 300-600 feet away from eachother and flew closer together into a complete triangle or pyramid. It completely freaked me and my buddy out we thought we were tripping. But then after those flew over the horizon we saw three more just flying around, two of them were flying somewhat far away and hard to see, but the last one was a lot more closer, I was able to see that the object was very metallic and somewhat spinning it seemed as, because it kept on turning red almost. I'd say the size of the craft is about 30-50ft, but it is very hard to saw since they were pretty far away...

After all that I have been very happy it seems knowing finally I am not alone in this marvelous Universe!!

Not sure what to do about my sighting not much you can do I guess..... Any suggestions?

This is especially interesting as I have an 8.5 x 11color photo of a Huge UFO parked above a Boeing plant on Marginal Way in So Seattle. This was taken by a free lance photographer. On his way home from shooting, he had an intuition to stick his camera out the car window and click it. He could see no reason for doing this but did and when he developed it, it was perfectly framed. I think this may have been the Developmental Center but not sure about that. It is the same size building and on the same road. I used to work at the DC, in 1960. The building is 60 feet high and about a 1/4 mile long. This ship which you do not see clearly looks to be over a half mile wide but hard to tell as it goes off the picture on both ends. What confirms it as a ufo is in the foreground. Here perfectly centered is what looks like an opening in the bottom of the vessel - or a shuttle craft below the vessel. And from that coming straight down is a round curtain of light that makes a lit up ring on the blacktop. The pavement is wet from very light rain so you see this light clearly. It makes a donut like round circle on the ground that would be approximately 15 feet in diameter where the wall of light would be over a foot across making it look like a donut of light on the ground. The large center is not lit up, just the ring and you clearly see the light coming down from the craft that makes this ring on the surface.

To the rear, beside and behind the building, you see the horizon with hazy blue sky. That only goes up to where something you cannot see is blocking the blue light and it is soft white light. This has the shape of a very large sphere truncated on each side by the size limit of the camera. So if this is a full sphere, it would seem to be possibly 5 miles diameter. But it could just as well be a curved bottom of a saucer shape that turns over to the top of the craft just outside the picture on each side. Its a bit hard to descrbe

I got this photo from a friend about 14 years ago who said he was given this by his friend who took the picture.

He, my friend, is a practical doer who has started several enterprises that were successful. One was stopped by government freezing of funds while investigating for over a year to find nothing. But the business was killed by the heavy hand. He was/is a visionary but not in any way in a business related to ufo things. This was just a matter of curiosity and general knowledge interest. We were fishing all day on the Fox River without a single bite.We decided to move to one last spot closer to the shoreline. We were there about 15 minutes when we noticed a black object come out of the north over the trees. It was traveling at about the same speed as the Goodyear blimp (which,incidentally flew over the previous Sunday),and approached directly overhead. It looked like 3 separate circular objects but attached,traveling as one.As it got closer it gained altitude and right as it passed us directly overhead, it came to a dead spot just slightly to the right of our boat,and sat there,perfectly still,totally silent.After staring at this thing for about 5 minutes another object came out of the exact same spot over the trees and traveled the exact path at the same speed.This object was siver,shiny and metallic. It looked like a ball floating across the sky. It passed overhead and came to a dead stop directly adjacent to the black object. The two objects sat in the sky along side eachother and didn't move,didn't make a sound. Moments later another black object came from the same direction as did another metallic object.As each of these object flew approached,flew overhead and sat, I tried to find them in the viewfinder of my camera which I could not do. I handed my camera to the other person in the boat and asked him to try, he couldn't see them through my camera either. I kept snapping pictures because these things were right there,clear as day and I knew my aim was dead on ! I took 17 pictures before my batteries went dead. After continuing to look up at these objects an overwhelming feeling of fear came over me and all I wanted to do was get off the water. I turned my head to find the anchor rope and when I turned back, they were gone and weren't anywhere in the sky.When we got home I charged up my batteries and took a look at my photos,which showed nothing at all. Then I plugged my camera into my computer and saw that I had captured some amazing images.The black object,in my photos,looks like a black dot but "in person" this thing was much bigger and crystal clear as were the metallic objects.As I was looking at each picture I couldn't believe that I captured 3 of the objects,sitting in the sky in a triangular formation with the black object at the tip.I also captured two in perfect alignment as well as 3 in a perfect diagonal line.Remember,these objects WERE NOT visible through the viewfinder of my camera,AT ALL !! Very,very strange. I've sent my photos to a few well know ufologists,one in Canada and one in Germany. They're baffled. One photo of the metallic object,when enhanced, looks like a silver top and all of these objects were so strange that I can't think of one single "earthly" thing to compare them to. The black object changed shape as it gained altitude and became one solid object. While these objects sat right over our boat, I had the eeriest feeling of being stared at. I mean, of all places to stop,they stopped right over us. This all happened in broad daylight,clear skies with tons of people around but there hasn't been anything written about these things in my local newspapers. I also wrote to air traffic control at O'Hare airport and they saw nothing and didn't receive any reports ( I'm not sure they would even tell me if they did ) ! Anyway,that's my "sighting" exactly as it happened. It has changed me ! I was always a believer but now I KNOW !!! I haven't been able to think of anything else since seeing these things and would love some answers,if there are any. These objects were not of this earth that's most certain in my mind. Hello: I`ve been reading some of the remarks made herein, and noticed that some are very important for anyone looking for the truth about U.F.O.`s. Personally, I had two experiences with UFO`s in Puerto Rico, when I was still an Agent with the Puerto Rico Police Dept. In one of those experiences, `something` crashed landed in our rain forrest of El Yunque; and I was on duty that night. I was told about it, by a reporter from El Vocero News Paper, Mr. Ruben Dario, so, I called my friend and partner, Agent X (not his real name, of course), and we went to the area. While there, we were stopped by the `military`, (don`t know what branch, cause they were not identified; only wore black clothing, without insignias or name tags, and flew to this area by helicopter, which where not identified eighter). I remember that a reporter from a TV Station, Sylvia Gomez, was there, and was questioning the leader, who spoke perfect english, but who was very rude to everyone, and ordered all of us, including her, out of the area. The entrance to El Yunque remained closed to all people, except the men in black (not men in suites, like the movies, mind you, rather like military personell, with boots, hats, long sleeves, and military clothes, everything black, but no identification on them, or their helicopters). My partner and I were angry at this treatment from unknowns to us, so we went and got geared up, with fatigue style cloting, our rifles and guns, and went back and started up the mountain on the other side of the mountain. It was odd, cause once we climbed about for one hour, we started to hear a strange noise; kindda like a `buzzing`, or bee like sound, and then we saw bright lights coming from what we call `the crater`, so we headed upward, opening our way with a machete, cause it`s very dense. We kept going up, and as we went, we saw several helicopters flying over us. We heard strange sounds, like we`ve never heard before; we can`t explain them. We stopped a few times to rest, and just listened, but we only heard those strange sounds. Unfortunately, we saw it was almost morning, so we decided to head for the road. That was a terrible mistake! Once there, we started to continue climbing, but were met by two men in black, one with a rifle, and the other with a kind of weapons neighter of us had ever, ever seen before. They spoke to us in english, and very harsh! They took our guns and rifles, and arrested us. We told them we were cops, but they said that we had no authority in that place, cause it`s was taken over by the military, and when I asked "what branch of the military" , and what were their names, they laughed, and send us down the road, to leave immediately, or they would shoot us, and no one would ever find our bodies. I looked into their eyes, and saw that they meant what they were saying, so I told my partner, who didn`t know english, and he said for us to go, so we left. The men appeard normal to me and my partner; like the all "american boys "next door to us. I got in touch with my supervisor, and told them about how we `lost` our rifles and guns, and they wouldn`t believe us. But after a few weeks, we were called in by a superior ranking officer, whom we did not know, and he said," he`d forget it, if we would!!!" The story was aired by reporter Silvia Gomez, on Telemundo Channel the next night; and everyone in Puerto Rico saw the men in black, and the black helicopters. Nothing more to add, except that I told this to Mr.Jorge Martin, a UFO investigator in Puerto Rico, who said he knew all about it, but that he could do nothing. I decided to leave it at that, cause I didn`t want problems for having lost our guns and rifles!!!! Thanx

Sometimes we are afraid of talking about things that we have experienced, because of 'ridicule'. In 1957, when I was just a little girl, the Sputnik, was being send into outer space. I remember, it was about six in the evening, and I was playing outside with my brothers and sisters, and our friends. One of my brothers, who is a pilot today, saw something in the sky, and yelled out that it was 'the Sputnik'. Everyone started to yell, and so the grown ups all came outside to see with us. It was a yellow, round, 'something', and I could see that it was 'spinning'. All in all, we must of been about 30 or over neighbors looking at 'this thing', when all of a sudden it started to glow very bright, and started to come 'down'. I got scared, so I ran into the house; but my brother and his friends started to pick up rocks and throw them at 'it'. Then I looked out again, and saw it was flying very low, and started to fly towards a mountain. Once there, 'it' stood still.......hovering above the mountain. It was there for about three minutes and then dissapeared behind the mountain. I was amazed, because behind the mountain was nothing else than the sea. Ever since that happened to 'us', my brothers and sisters and I have experienced 'different kinds of unexplained experiences; too many to explain in here. I'm a Psycological Profiler working for the Police Department where i live. Don't know why I was 'compelled' to visit this site.........just did. If anyone is reading this, please take into account that I don't fancy 'anything' that can't be explained by scientific mesures. Thank you for reading one of my stories.

well me and my friend was walking down a dirt road and we looked up at the sky and saw a white glowing object in the sky near the sun and the sun was starting to go down so we thought it was the first star out because the object was far far away so we made it to our desination and then like 30 minutes later we walked out to go back to my friends house and then i looked up at the sky agin and saw that the object was moving pretty fast away from the spot it was in it was faster than any plane ive ever seen at the time i diddnt really care what it was but could you tell me what i saw
