I wondered if Phil remembers me. I too saw the boomerang-shaped object on Interstate 84 near the Taconic Parkway in the 80’s. I saw Phil’s name in the newspaper back then (a few days after I saw this) and I contacted him. It was sometime in the mid-80’s and around June or July. He invited me to a meeting with other witnesses, I think, at Brewster (NY) High School but I was leaving for vacation that day and couldn’t make it so I mailed him my notes and drawing.

I was coming home (to CT) after visiting relatives in Beacon NY. (I can’t recall the exact year now.) I was on I84 eastbound between Exit 15 (Lime Kiln Rd) and the Taconic Parkway when I caught site of this huge object coming near me from the North. I watched for about 60 seconds and then pulled off the road (about .33 mile before the Taconic). I climbed up a hill to watch this thing fly directly over my head. It was huge and the underside looked a bit like the Close Encounters movies’ craft.

I too felt I could have thrown a rock and almost hit it but I knew it was out of reach. It seemed to stop or slow down as if it had seen me and was watching to see what I might do. (I thought to myself that if I had had a camera and taken a picture that this object might have swooped down and picked me up.) So, I stood there for about 5 minutes and watched it…it was like it was “saying”: “Yes, that’s right, we’re letting you see this, just don’t do anything to make us mad”. It had very little noise…a low hum and it was moving very slowly.

It then continued to travel south just to the west of the Taconic. Then, when it might have been over Philipstown, I saw the far light on the left of the triangle break away and start flying all over the sky, very wildly, for about 1 minute…then, all of a sudden, it streaked (in an instant) in a perfectly straight line back into the same spot it had been.

I then went to get back in my car and I noticed a few other cars (heading West bound on 84) had pulled over to the side. I think I was the only person who had gotten out of his/her car.

As I got to the intersection of 84 East and 684, I looked in my rear-view mirror and saw this huge white thing coming toward me. It was very big and higher in the sky. It was all silver and brilliant white and didn’t have the boomerang shape (it’s hard to describe the shape….maybe like a child’s spinning top…and all “sparkly”). When I saw this I was a bit scared because I thought that maybe, because it had allowed me to see it up close, it was coming back for me (for some reason). I picked up the pace and drove home.

When I got home I told my wife and then wrote down all I had seen…I also drew the shape of the boomerang with red, white and green lights. I then called my father who was working at Stewart Air Force Base and told him what I had seen and to let me know if anyone at Stewart said anything about it. He later said no one said anything but he had seen an article in the paper.

In closing, I never saw it again…and over the past 20 years, I’ve traveled the same route hundreds of times…most times at night. Did Phil include my info in the book?

I was with two friends we first saw objects from overpass that was under construction, they looked likr they were between Waxahachie and Dallas. So we went to one of my friends house and got his telescope (we were soph in high school and my friend had just got his lic so we were out riding around and that how we first noticed them) after we got the telescope we went back to the overpass and it was just starting to turn dusk the objects were still there in about the same location so we set up the telescope and what I saw was three black saucer shapes with a red glow around them. We had several people stop and ask what we were doing, they just laughed and took off, but you got to understand this was sorta a redneckville back then. So we loaded up and went in the direction that we had seen them by this time it was totally dark we got about a mile north of Waxahachie and turned down a road off US 77 and went about a mile we thought we would have a better view. So we stopped and got out (BIG MISTAKE) the abjects were rite on top of us about as high as one and a half telephone poles we were scared to deatrh jumped back in car and it would not start we got out and pushed car about a 100 yds down the road and it started luckily it was a WV we were so scared I thought I would have a heart attack one of my buddies was crying, at the same time I knew it was something special we had encounterd.

Forgot the best part as we were watching from overpass these objects were doing some really wild things such as lineing up straight up and down and made a oval red glow then they would come together a make one solid glow then they would break apart and line up side by side and made a oval glow side ways it was truly awsome site. The glow was so intense it had to be some kind of energy the only way I can describe it is if you were in a closet and and someone stuck a fireplace poker in the fire until it turned glowing red hot and gave it to you in the dark closet It was that intense, never have seen anything like it except on unsolved mysteries Im 49 now and never seen anything like it before are after this (PS there was a lot of strange activity in the area during this time some documented in the papers I heard threw the papers or TV that the many strange sitghtigs was probably caused by the construction of DFW airport, they were working at nite because of the summer heat and the lights were so brite it was the brightest spot on earth when viewed from space. That's my experence and I gota really really strange feeling (WE ARE NOT ALONE).

NA! I was very scared when it happened but I relized very quickly that my friends and myself had seen and expirenced something very special.

Standing on Queens Blvd. looking straight up I saw a small white orb that appeared to be moving left to right. In trying to dismiss it as a balloon or bird, three more appeared from the west. As they moved into a triangle formation, one more came down from the north and one came up from the south. Then all but the original orb disappeared. I thought of every possible explanation, but this skeptic is at a loss for words.

It was a beautiful, clear day. Approximately 3p.m. Blue skies. The original orb stayed in the sky for atleast 30 mins. Was it balloons? Was it a constellation that faded in and out as the extreme high flying clouds passed by? Government experiments? Birds?

I am a skeptic. So yes. Satellites, balloons. Definitely not the moon. The moon Was actually 2/3 full and enormous in blue sky that day. Probably 5000 times the size of what I witnessed

The object was just a very bright dot, high up, so I could not see its shape. The color was white. Most peculiar was the large, perfectly circular hole in the cloud which I suspect it caused. It must have trevelled very fast because after I took my attention off it and walked about 5 paces, it was gone. The circle of cloud was then no longer so smooth.

The sighting occurred on a street called Vulcan Avenue, which is a semi urban street that has open stretches along its north side. At that time there was a steel plant with coke ovens about a mile away.

This is an old report that occurred months before UFOs were even talked about, during the spring of, I think, 1947. I was a young boy walking home from school with four young friends, along a lonely street on the edge of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Suddenly one of my friends pointed to the sky directly overhead, to a very bright dot that was obviously high up. We all marveled at how bright it was, and reasoned that it must have been a balloon with the sun shining on it. This was about 4:00 in the afternoon. Since my friends thought they had it figured out they did not give it much further attention and walked off, but to me it was too bright to be a balloon and I kept staring at it, alone. Then I noticed that this bright dot was sitting in the middle of a very large, perfectly circular hole in the clouds. Moving clouds would approach the perimeter of this circle and drift around it. The inside of the circle was not at all ragged, as one would expect with clouds. My neck was getting kinked, as the bright dot was directly overhead, and I reasoned there was nothing I could do about it, so I walked a few steps forward with my attention on where I was going but could not resist a look up again. The bright dot was then gone, and the circle of cloud was just beginning to close in. I did not see it fly off. Months later reports of UFOs appeared, and I put the two together but mentioned my thoughts to no one. Mine is the only case I know of where a UFO was seen influencing a second object, the clouds. No conventional phenomena can explain that in a form so perfect.

As a corollary to this story, years later I became interested in neutralizing gravity, and came up with a theory that you can read on http://www.magneticdisclevitator.com. Although this theory went through many permutations, I am struck by how much the final product resembles the popular concept of a UFO.

The bright dot could possily be a natural object, except that it must have moved very fast. We originally thought it was a balloon with the sun shinning on it. But nothing can explain that perfectly circular hole in the clouds, that became ragged when the dot was no longer there.

After reflecting on this experience in later years I believe there could be some truth behind alien visitors to Earth, but exaggerated. This sighting was before there were any reports of UFOs.

The Sugar Land airport is about 3-5 miles from here,but remember, I worked on the flightline with fighter jets(F-100, F-4 Phantom, F-84,86, T-33&38), both day and night and can judge aircraft speeds relative to altitude and this object was moving very fast relative to it's altitude better than mach-4.

I am a former US Air Force Fighter Jet Mechanic. I saw Spunik in 1957. I saw Haleys and Hale Bop. I ' ve seen Megellanic Meteor Showers. The oject I saw tonight was orangish in color heading southeast, from my perspective it was moving in a straight line beyond the

earths atmosphere at supersonic speed. Had this object been within the atmosphere, it would have disintegrated due to the speed at which it was traveling. The object was heading to the south of the moon. If I were to draw an imaginary line from the North to the position of the moon the object would have intersected that line at about a 90-degree

angle.

At 10am while waiting for our tent to be taken down by my father at the end of our holiday, none of us would have believed with in the next 30 minutes we would see a ufo.

We had just had a great holiday in a field 5 minutes from the main camping site, for it was cheaper on this field, and only 3 tents had been on this site, ie. My grand parents, ours (that me my brother and my mom and dad) and my great uncle tum and millie.

At 10.10am approx our dad came into our nans tent with us had he had just finished taking our tent down, our nan and uncle tom were going to stop for another week.

Our nan poured him a drink while my brother outside using binochalas and my mom was sorting out the end of our washing drying.

Just as we were taking a sip of our drinks a scream from my mother alerted us to some thing was happening outside - OHHHHH! WHATS THAT! She screeched.

We ran quickly out of my nans tent to see a shiny silver object which lantern shaped with a colour in the very left hand corner which constantly changed.

The object too seemed to move around its own shape, as it quickly with no sound went over our heads and disappeared within about 30-45 seconds.

at sunset i was driving on the freeway hollywood 101 by echo park in the car was my mom and son my mom first seen the craft and called for my attention look she said as she dipped her head and covered her face i immediately looked outside of her direction to the right of me and at first seen what i thought to be the worlds biggest ferris wheel sitting about 100ft. off the ground approx.300ft. in diameter golden bronze with colored windows and a glare that stretched out 50 to 100 ft. from the wheel as i looked on with amazement it begain to manuver from wheel position to saucer position it became even more clear to me and the great power i felt was new to me as almost like i was in the shock of amazement i felt a great connection as if somehow i was in relation to the very being of the craft looking even more closer until i was able to see every detail of it there were people looking at me lots of them looking out the windows as our connection was made they had many smiles on their faces the craft in height must have been 300ft. each ring being 100ft.with the center ring full of windows with people looking out at me face to face the top of the craft had writing on the right of it which looked like hebrew or ancient egyption then as quick as it appeared it went up straight and faded into space.

My father was one of the eye witnesses,he was a military pilot, he had over 2000 flying hours . Along with him other 2 pilots saw it. the power supply of the airport went down 2 times during the incident. After the landing, my father was interviewed by the ministry of defense of argentine, argentine airforce and last but not least NASA.

just do a search on the "bariloche case", you will find a long description of the incident, what they don´t tell you is about the interviews made by those "big" institutions.

My father died about a month after the incident, i don´t relate his dead to that , and i will apreciatte that you won´t try to make a conection neither.

I am feeling very funny to talk about this to someone, usually is something that we keep inside our family circle but also is a very well knowed case in argentine ufology.
