me, my brother in law and my freind pat were driving our usual wednesday journey to faversham, to our local model car racing club, it must have been summer time as it was daylight and sunny at 6.45pm 2003 and a glorious day.

we were heading north bound up the A2 when we were stopped at the Lydden/sheppardswell traffic lights. as we all sat there i said what on earth is that (not quite as politely as that) while i was sat there i was looking at a sphere hanging in the distance over to the left hand side of the road. we first didnt think much of it just thought it was an air balloon or somethingbut as we got closer it made us more and more curious other cars travelling in our direction were pointing at it as well.

we drove towards it for about ten minutes and now it was on our imediate left then it vanished! my friend pat took some photos on his camera phone i will see if he still has them.....maybe someone has all ready reported this.......and knows what it was

a week or so later one our local deal news papers reported a famer at studdal had seen something similar and a week or so later a man claimed some ufo type thingy flew low over his car on the dover road at 3am or something like that

just thought i wouldnt bother reporting it . didnt want to sound mad or like a wacko

Don't remember the exact year, but would estimate before my son was born - 1993. My husband and I lived a couple miles from the Atlantic ocean (1 mile from the NC intercoastal highway). It was getting dusk, and my husband come inside our home and told me that I had to go outside and "look at this". I stood with my husband in our front yard (rural area but a lot of highway traffic 1 mile away) and looked up at what was obviously somekind of vehicle. I don't remember all the specifics of the shape other than it was tubular/ cylindar shaped that was translucent with different color lights glowing from it. It hoovered over the trees near the dirt road in front of our doublewide for probably a minute. For some strange reason I was not scared or alarmed - but a sense that there was nothing I could do about it but stay calm. After a while it was gone (I don't remember if it left suddenly or disappeared - I think left suddenly). I didn't pay too close attention to the details because I thought we'd be hearing news reports of the sighting. When the TV and radio didn't mention it, I was very surprised. It was so close that I thought possibly cars on the coastal highway could have seen it or the homes that were spaced every acre apart on our dirt road. This is the first time I have every mentioned this to an agency. For some reason my 11 year old son went to school talking about the UFO I had seen (actually saw another one in 1992 - very different experience) and directed me to the internet. I saw your "post a report" and decided to do it.

The other UFO was not near as dramatic. I was on my balcony (urban city of Charlotte, NC) at about 5:00 am smoking a cigarette. Something bright caught my attention to my left. As I turned my head, I saw a bright light the shape of a quarter moon (apparently pretty far away) up in the sky. It moved horizontally (as if it were skipping across the sky) for about 1/2 second and then disappeared. I immediately thought, "well, I have now seen two UFO's in my lifetime". Who would ever believe this? (No other witnesses to this one.)

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

I'd be curious to know what a weather balloon looks like because there is no possibility it could be anything else. (That I know of anyway.)

i was traveling on the Greyhoud Bus to Dallas Texas, from Oakland California. The route of the trip was through Arizona. Some place in Arizona in the early hours of the morning, Bored on the bus I simply stared into the night sky, thinking bout my personal life. I suddenly lost my train of thought as I seen a blue round object in a distance, moving very smoothly across the sky. I never believed in U.F.O'setc, but I was convinced that this was something out of this world. I stared at the object for as long as 10 seconds, only to notice it getting smaller, and than, it seemed to vanish completely. I had been awake for two hours before the sighting, so I am clear it was not a dream or a hallucination-dont use drugs.

I was walking up the blue arrow mountain track. I was visiting cairns on a holiday so every chance i was taking photos. I was walking the track with a friend, the photo was taken from his camera. Before taking the photo i could "feel" some sort of presence. After taking the shot, like every other time i checked to decide if it was worth keeping. The photo had two white orbs. None of the pictures from the holiday (100's) or from the same track, had anything like it, there was no fault with the camera. Only in the photo could we see the orbs.

I have made written notes, of which must be somewhere, but without them, I can remember that the actual shapes of these things, I couldn't make out and this display happened at night. The bright lights blinded out any clues to their real dimensions. At times during the sighting it seemed that these objects were not infact separate, but one solid mass (especially when it/they moved from flat circular to upright circular postion, in unison!

It is hard to say the size of each one of those objects as they were pretty high up inthe night sky, and their lights totally obsured any measurements, but I would imagine very big! Perhaps the size of a couple of football pitches when they formed the circle, but that can be no measurement of their actual size.

The area surrounding the sighting was most definitely urban, I lived in Millbank, London; opposite MI6 at the time and nearby the banks of the River Thames, not so far from Big Ben, Buckinham Palace and the Houses of Parliament.

Were they the search lights of some prankters? Were they secret experiments by national or international government agencies? ...I think neither. The colors they displayed were not for FX, but I believe they corresponded to their speeds; ultra-blue/white = quick- well beyond supersonic speeds, (maybe even, the speed of light) while umbers/reds= slow - motionless speeds.

These crafts were able to come together in V formations and a single upright circle ! I didn't hear a single sound and I wasn't covered in aspect of dust, perhaps though, because they seemed to be several hundreds of feet above me, at angle.

These "lights" numbered 9 - 13? (I can't quite remember); in any case there were more than 5 or 6 of them.

I parked my car on the street in Millbank, London SW1 and looked up toward SE or SW, in the direction of MI6 Vauxhall Bridge and Battersea and saw lights coming together from perhaps SE or SW England. They made manoeuvres in the sky, unknown to any aircraft I've ever seen make. That's why I immediately thought "prankters playing with powerful search lights"? This notion, however, was quickly dismissed when I saw them changed colors, one-by-one from red to orange-yellow then slowly fly off, breaking the motionless upright to flat circular formation that they had previously assumed.

As they flew off slowly, their lights changing from reds-oranges-yellows, their speeds increased; they adopted the V formation again, then changed colors to electric blues (they were pretty high above the ground). I've never before nor after seen any vehicle move at such incredible speeds. Off they went into the southeast or southwest regions of the sky.

To my mind, the sighting cannot be explained as the moon, birds or clouds, nor as any man-made flying object, and as I've already mentioned the impossibility of search lights that could be controlled by computers to make unconventional maneuvers such as horizontal, virtical, rolls etc. Slow then fast speeds and then disapeared hundreds of miles away into they clear night sky.

Seeing is believing...I had never before seen a UFO, but I never dismissed any claims that they did/didn't exist. People I've spoken to can't believe that, what I saw could have been UFOs...I don't care, but I do know that for them "seeing is believing".

I become interested in the idea of magetic levitation or nuclear powered aircraft and found a book by Paul R. Hill entitled "Unconventional Flying Object ...a scientific analysis" that seemed to corrobrate my sighting and offered an explaination for the strange movements and lights as well as speeds at which these objects flew.

Solid white ball. Absoloutely no obvious features. It did not seem to be glinting in the sun at all. There was no sound at all from the object.

It was small. I am guessing at 5- 10 feet or so. This is purely based on comparisons with passenger aircraft (737 type) which i had observed approaching the local airport (15 miles away)

Suburban area. Washington is roughy equidistant from the cities of Newcastle and Sunderland (8-10 miles to each). The nearest military bases that I know of probaly 30-50 miles away although as I say in my report it is very unuasual to see any kind of military aicraft here.

It was a warm sunny day (2:45 pm GMT) with mostly clear blue skies. There was no breeze at ground level and the few clouds in the sky were moving very slowly in a northeasterly direction.

I was lying in a hammock looking westwards when i saw a small white ball in the sky.

It was moving in an arc from a northerly direction and turning east.

I couldn't gauge the height of the object other than to say it was lower than the few clouds that were there. At a guess i would say that it would have been no more than 10 feet across. I say this because I had observed a number of passanger jets approaching the local airport (Newcastle - approx 15 miles away) at roughly the same height and they were considerably bigger than this object.

I would describe the object as being a white solid ball rather than silver. It did not appearing to be shining in the sun.

Once it was directly over my head it stopped - not abrubtly -it just basically slowed and stopped. It 'hovered' above my head for approx 10-15 minutes. It did not move at all during this time. It then moved slowly eastwards a little and over the top of my house. At this point I lost sight of it and had to move to the top of the garden at which point i saw it again between clouds. Again it seemed to be hovering. it did this for a minute or so before slowly moving north for a short distance then south then north again. At this point it disappeared behind clouds and i lost sight of it totally. The sighting. in total, lasted approx 15-20 minutes.

Approx 40 minutes after i had first spotted the object a jet fighter (looked like a Tornado type aircraft) flew at speed and below the clouds in a southerly direction, roughly towards where I had last seen the ball. It is most unusual to see military aircraft in this area.

I would have to say that I do have an interest in ufology and have read some books and seen some video clips but until now I have seen absoloutely nothing that I couldn't rationally explain. I suppose from my description some people may believe that the object that I observed was a balloon. I am sure that this is not the case. From its movement it was obvious that it had mass to it (if that makes sense) and obviously wasn't an object just blowing about in the breeze.

No. I have tried to convince myself that it could have been a large balloon, but that is just me trying to put a rational expalnation to something that I can't explain.

I have an interest in UFOs and have read some books on the subject. I have also seen a fair few ufo video clips . I would say that I was certainly open minded to the possibility of the existence of ufos. Prior to this I have seen nothing that I couldn't explain or dismiss as natural or man made.

My friend and I were coming from band practice one night a week or two ago. We were almost at my house (about a mile or two away) when we spotted it. It was a bright light in the sky (it looked almost like a star). Just one. It wasn't like a few small lights in a pattern or anything, just one large bright light that isn't normally there. I spotted it and showed it to my friend, and we thought it was a little odd.

Well, about that time, it started moving. In strange directions. It looked like it was moving up and down, kind of slowly, but it was definately doing it. I stopped my truck right in the middle of the road to watch it. We watched it for about a minute or two as it moved and then stopped, moved and then stopped. It then gradually faded away. We then kept going to see if we could spot it again, but we didn't. I came home and told my parents about it and that was the end of it.

I've since then have been looking up sightings on the internet (which mind you, I DON'T normally do) and have come to find people with similar experiences. Doing this was when I came upon this site, and I saw that it had a sighting submission, so I figured I would let somebody know about it.

I don't know what it was I saw, and I'm not saying it WAS a UFO, but it was unlike anything I have seen or can explain with nature. and I'm not making this up.

It was about 10:30PM EST. Just leaving Chalk River, Ontario. I was sitting at the back of a bus looking out at the stars when I noticed an orange light over the field. With a few trees between the field and the road, I assumed it was nothing more than a rather tall street light on a dirt road located in the middle of the field. Then as I looked at this light, another light bloomed into view next to it. At this point I knew it was not a street light. The two lights began descending towards the ground and then a third light appeared from above. I lost sight of the first two lights in the trees. As the third light descended, several more appeared and began descending at different rates. The bus then turned a corner and outside the window I noticed a dirt road the led from the main road to the field, was blocked off by 4 military transports and several guards with M-16s. I also saw to civilian vehicles sitting at opposite ends of the field, watching these lights I assume. I saw somewhere between 7 and 10 of these lights. At first I thought it may have been a training exercise involving flares. But I've never seen flares that could appear from nowhere and descend at different rates. The bus then turned and unfortunately I could no longer see anything.

I find it highly unlikely that these were man-made objects. I've never seen anything that could do this.
