Bright neon green light moving faster than an aeroplane in a straight horizontal line with a tail of "fire" following it. Looked like a comet type thing.

it was on the road between Uitenhage (small town) and Port Elizabeth (big city). the two ar about 30km from each other and there are black townships all the way along the road. The road is a rather big, double lane national road. one medium size power plant nearby, but the light came from the opposite direction and I passed the power plant about 5km ago

I was driving from Uitenhage to PE at night and suddenly saw this bright neon green light moving at an awsome speed from the sea's side and dissapearing behind the hills where the townships are. As it dissapearded behind the hills, it lightened up the whole area. I thought it might be a flair or something, but it can't. I've only seen red flairs used around here. This light moved with a tail (almost like a comet) and moved in a straight line horizontally.

The closest thing I ever saw to this was CNN footage of missile fire in Baghdad, Iraq. but again, this was a straight horizontal line and it had this comet like tail and the bright neon green color!!! No explosion or anything was heard when it dissappeared over the hills. This was very late at night and thus very quiet on the road.

As a neared Port Elizabeth, there were suddenly a whole lot of police cars going in the opposite direction (thus towards the area where I saw this). I am talking of about 8 to 10 police cars that were riding like hell was chasing them. Something must have happened, something strange. But NOTHING was reported in the newspapers...

I always believed in life on other planets, but not that any contact has been made. I mean there are thousands of planets out there - hy should there not be any life? Never read much about this though. My sighting has changed my point of view to believing that we are closer to make contact than what we think.

Not really any comments, except that this was very weird and very real. I never saw anything like this and it certainly was not an aeroplane. And why all those police cars suddenly!!! But no reports of any major happening in that area....

From where I was in my car, it looked about the size of a basketball. Seemed to be floating directly above a stop light.

I was driving home at about 11 PM in January 02 with a friend, when I stopped at a red light. We saw a green light hovering above the stop light, which was really confusing, so I pulled over to look at it. It was about the size of a basketball, and seemed to be floating right above the stoplight. It hovered for about 15 seconds, then shot up into the sky.

The machine reminded a railroad carriage. First of all I thought about a helicopter, but when I saw it closer I couldn't see either tail or propellers. Instead, I saw three large (approx. 2 meters in diameter) jet-pipe reminding circles located in the bottom, though no flame was seen, just intense ellowish-white light. The apparatus used powerful head spotlight to investigate or find something in the air. Its speed was slow.

It was early darkness after twilight, I was going home from school, there was nobody on the street. Not so far from my home, I saw a beam of light in the sky coming westward. I don't know why I decided to stay and see what is it. When it came closer, I saw a prolonged object which was slowly moving forward as if searching for smth. in the sky with a bright focused spotlight. My first idea was that it's a helicopter from nearby (approximately 3 miles from that place) military air base. It was over my head when I finally understood it was something weird (description is below). I can not give detailed description of the machine but what I saw looking upward.

Some time after that evidencing, a Vladivostok newspaper published some materials concerning increased UFO activity in the region. It contained a picture of object very similar with what I have seen. Unfortunately, I didn't save the publication, but may be my evidence is of any value.

Yes, sure, the machine is quite possible to be human-made. As far as it was coming from military air base, I supposed it to be a large helicopter, but it had no evident conventional external control devices (e.g. anti-torque rotor, control fins). Moreover, the sound of its engine was not like sound of propeller, but like obtuse roar of jet-propulsion engine.

I stop my car [I was using my brother's car]and another car behime me try to pass me but he stop right next to me and he ask me what happend[because I was standing in the middle of the street] I told the man to look up and he said that it was strange and them he took of.I was there for at least two minutes.This thing was beautiful with a lot of diferents light under.I know what I saw and I'm not crazy

I was going home from the library and I looked into the sky and saw about 12-16 white lights. I thought I was going crazy or something, so I asked my dad if he saw anything and he saw the exact same thing I did. The "white things" were constantly moving in a circle. Then four of them would come together and bounce off of each other, and then continue moving in the circular motion. I tried taking pictures of it, but my camera could not pick up something so far away. Then I called my friend who lives 13.17 miles away from me (I used map quest) and he said he saw it too. Then I saw an airplane come by it, then after the airplane went away, it started to fade away (I'm not sure when the start and finish times were, but it did not last for too long).

At first I thought it might have been something from like some show or something, but I noticed that it moved with me. Like you know when you look at the moon and it appears to follow you? This was like the same thing.

It was about 5:15am I was facing west still dark out nice moon and stars, then from out of nowhere comes this light glowing like a bulb kind of oval shaped with a bubble like shape on top and bottom no blinking light the whole thing glowed white just glowed brighter then dimmer going south then slowly started to head in a easterly direction it was just above the tree line about a pea size held out at arm lenth, it appeared to be rotating counter clockwise watched it for about 5 min until it ways out of my veiwing area it make no noticable sound!!

My kids and I were walking home around 7:00 PM about six blocks from our house, and my daughter said " mom look in the sky", and my 3 yr. old who I was pushing in the stroller and me both looked up, and saw these white circular shaped lights going around in a circle, and then they would criss-cross each other and go back in a circle. We could see this all the way home.........it is like they were following us. We kept stopping and looking up and there they were! I called my oldest son on my cell, and said we are almost home come outside, there lights in the sky........you got to see this........its wierd! We got to the front door we could still see ithem clearly. When we got in the house.............looking out all three of the bedroom windows we could see them still for about another hour and half. Then before I went to bed at 10:30 PM...............I didn't see the lights anymore.

I don't believe it was man-made. My first thought was maybe it was a natural.........but it wasn't like a meteor shower.

Before I really didn't give it a second thought.............had no belief. I have heard of sightings before, and people being kidnapped by Aliens, but still really didn't believe it! Now.........I more open to the possibility to something else being out there.
