Huge ball shaped object, with a trail behind it. Bright white/yellow/orange tinge with pale white trail.

3 km away at altitude of about 500-700 feet.

Urban area (Fremantle, W.A.), Powerplants about 25 kms south and military base about 35 kms south.

Whilst out on the verandah having a cigarrette, one morning (before dawn), there was this bright white ball, out west of my position that flew past from north to south!! It was above all the buildings in Fremantle and looked to be over the ocean.The 'object' was like all white, with a tinge of pale yellow/orange to it. It had a sort of tail of pale white trailing behind it!!

It was faster than any plane we've got, but slower than any meteorites that I've seen.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No , it was too bright and I don't think it was a meteorite, because if it was one ,it was the slowest one I've ever seen(and believe me , coming from The Nullarbor, you see hundreds of meteorites!!) But it was faster than any plane that I've ever seen!!

It was like looking at an arc-flash from a welder, it was very bright white but had a blue tinge to it. It was coming straight at us from out in space, visible in the evenings and at night.The strange thing was that it seemed to doing a slight figure-of 8 pattern(like the symbol for 'eternity') in the sky ( when you lined it up with a stationary structure ie house or fence) It continued to be visible at night for several months then it disappeared (it just kept getting bigger and brighter, but on the same path, straight at us!!)Then it reappeared in the early mornings (about 2 hours before sunrise). I was on night shifts at the time so I kept a watch for 'it'!! Then it disappeared all together!!

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Maybe it was a comet, planet or something but we never heard about anything from the astronomers ( who are normally able to tell what it is)and it was 'strange' that it seemed to be doing the figure-of-8 pattern in the sky!!

With the camera zoomed in it looked like a circle object with some sort of pattern in the middle of the circle. without the camera sort of like a star but just a little bit duller.

i was washing the car at about 9:30pm and i just happened to look up at the stars and i saw these lights, they were following eachother in a small circle going really fast. I thought it was really wierd so i called my mother and sister to come and have a look. they both saw them and they circled for about 2minutes then they took off one in front of the other then the one behind disappered but the other kept travelling really fast across the sky until it fadded away. So i ran inside and got my camera so i could get a pic if it come back. Then 5 minutes later i saw just the one travelling across the sky going really fast and i took about 20 pictures of it but i can only zoom in on 2 pics and see the object. It eventually fadded when went to far away from me, it kept reappering for about 20 seconds then dissappering for the next 2 hours i think that it was going to fast and to be going in a cirle with another one it must be a UFO

i dont think so because of the picture and when i first saw it doing circles i just think that really wierd

Eucla is on the border of W.A./S.A.and is rural, we were on the ocean.

We were out on the water, in a dinghy, south of Eucla, Western Australia, when this pale orange ball of light passed over the boat and the went into the water, a ways from us.I can remember that it made a humming sound, but when it went into the water there was no sound of a splash or anything.I do remember thinking that "the moon had fallen from the night sky" That was because this ball of light was so big!! (I was only about 5 years old at the time)

I think this camera was able to capture this pictures because i was playing with the speed of the camera Manually, Digital Camera: Canon 10d . a think it was a slow speed, because i wanted to capture all the lighting on the hotel as much as posible. Didn't put much attention to the picture since to the left of this picture, there is an airport a few miles.

But as i Zoom in to it, it doesn't look like an airplane or some other aircraft. I still have the original picture in my compact flash card in wich it was taken. I saying its an UFO, but you guys decide for yourselfs.

If I held my fingers out, I would probably have to space my fingers about 2 - 3 inches apart to cover the UFO. Not sure of the actual size.

I would estimate the object was between 2 and 5 thousand feet above the earth.

On the night of December 26, 2005, I was out in my yard in rural Northeastern Texas viewing stars through my telescope. After looking about without the aid of a telescope to see what stars/astronomical phenomena to look for, I saw a very dim object which seemed to hover for a few moments. The object seemed to be hovering no more than between 2 - 5 thousand feet above the earth. It then moved slightly southeastward, then made a sharp turn to the southwest before moving away toward the south. The object then seemed to vanish. This object was triangular in shape with dim lights at each point. The object seemed to move about in an "S" shape rather rapidly. The object was surprisingly dim. Had I not allowed my eyes to adjust to the darkness (for viewing stars through my telescope), I might not have seen it. The whole experience seemed to last for no more than 15 to 20 seconds. My home is not near any airport or military base.

I do no believe this object can be explained conventionally. This object moved about in a most unusual manner -- almost intelligently

I was Looking out the window of my home When I observed an unidentified flying object which was moving across the sky(and was at a particually high altitude) the sun was lowering in the sky and sunlight reflected off the object it then moved away (slowly) in another direction and then disappeared and then reappeared a minute later moving slowly before disappearing again and then reappearing again a short time later it Definately appeared to be circiling the area and was small and white it was DEFINATELY some sort of craft but was'nt anything I could recogonise and it was'nt a hot-air balloon,kite,or weather balloon,and obviously was not a star,comet,planet,the moon,meteor,cloud etc nor a parachute,or bird I am convinced about what I saw and whilst observing it for 10 minutes or so I said to my brother DO YOU BELIEVE IN UFO'S AND COME AND HAVE A LOOK AT THIS OBJECT!! he came and had a look and I pointed to where in the sky the object had been but the object did'nt reappear again and I did'nt see it anymore after that.This was a particually strange sighting because the object kept disappearing and reappearing in clear sky and unless it was a satellite or blimp I can only think that what I saw was Something not from this world.

It was DEFINATELY NOT a Star,bird,parachute,flare,firework,cloud,comet,meteor,planet,the moon,a Hot-air balloon,kite,or weather balloon.helicopter,glider I am really unsure about what it could have been.

As stated above i was at a park walking towards a water fountain. suddenly a bright orange light engulfed me and i seem to had benn transported somewhere else. i recall running away from something. i was obviously scared and looking for my parents. they eventually found me about a mile and a half from where i had been. it's as if abeam of light beamed me up and transported me upwards and then somewhere else. i have no recollection of what occured during this possible abduction. the location was in branch brook park in Newark NJ. it was a sunny day in the park some time during the spring or summer. I'd like to add that i'm not crazy and i'm very credible. i'm currently a High School teacher. i have never been able to explain in a logical way what happened to me on that particular day. i'd like to add that since this incident i began to suffer from a series of nightmares and sleep paralasis until the age of 25. i'm 35 now and these difficulties in sleeping have stopped.

Object had three equal spaced lights on bottom side. Lights were amber ,not bright ,sort of a glow type light. The lights looked to be 12 inches or more in diameter..The size of the object estimated to be 100 to 150 feet shaped like a pure triangle with large radius on the three corners. The lights were in each corner very symetrical. The impression I had was a very simple and totally symetrical shape..The appearance was a aluminum like dull finish overall. Very much blending in with the overcast skies. Almost as if it were designed for that reason. It seemed to appear out of nowhere and vanished the same way. The sighting lasted for less than a minute but was very visible to two obsevers. Being a life time aircraft pilot and mechanic it was a truly impressive sight for me as well as the other observer. It was his second encounter having seen a much larger and longer duration of a huge object 300 feet dia. for several hours being followed at night.Sever others saw the same object. I t was also my second sighting having seen a yellow flashing light close to the ground for many miles at night in north texas a few years ago. My 25 year old son was driving and I was able to really get a good view of the light for at least 30 minutes or so. It followed followed our car about 40 feet away and 3 feet above ground over hill and dale at 2 or 3 in the morning . When we stopped it stopped and then after resuming our speed after a while it slowed and we never saw it again..

This was an excellent sighting ,short but close up by two 50 plus well traveled men. It was a fluke in that had I not been looking up it would have been missed because it seemed to appear and like wise dissappeared.
