Appearance / Description of Object(s)

Object looked like the frontal area of a helicopter, but with no tail, rotors or landing gear. Frontal area did look like dark glass in the shape familiar with the front of a helicopter. There was no sound whatsoever, and from the front emitted a white beam, in a triangle shape, lighting up the ground as if it was daylight.

Object was approx 20ft in the air, above a small copse of trees, it appeared to be around standard size of a helicopter without the tail.

20ft above, 20ft to the side of me. Appeared from behind trees, the was static in position.

Description of Area / Surroundings

Middle of fields, a dirt track that covered approx a mile, in the middle of this (between fields) was a copse of trees to one side. No street lighting of any kind, I do not recall the moon being visible either.

I was walking home at around 7-8pm in the evening, it must have been autumn/winter time as it was very dark. My route took me along a dirt track that covered a golf course, and then a corn field. At the end of the gold course was a small copse of trees.

As I approach the part of the path parallel with the trees, I became aware of a black object coming in from beyond the trees, it was maybe a little larger than a standard car, although I would more liken it to the cockpit of a helicopter, but without the rotors, the tail, or the landing gear. Some might say it was oval, or 'squashed cigar' shaped.

The object itself was very dark in colour, the front of the object had what I can only describe as a windscreen (like on the front of a helicopter), this did differ from the colouration of the rest of the object. Everything, including the windscreen was however black. From the windscreen area, what I can only describe as a search beam shone down, white light, illuminating the surrounding (approx 18ft) area as if it was daylight.

I was 12 or 13 years old at the time, and although I was very excited by what I could see, I considered the consequences of any actions in my head. Should I walk towards the object? I'm curious. But I might get abducted! They might not let me go! Should I stand and watch the object from where I am? Thinking about it now, I never considered 'hiding' - though as I recall, where I was, there was nothing to hide behind!

Anyway, I opted to continue walking, at as close to the same pace I had been previously (I did not actually stop) I acted as if I'd not been aware of it. When I was 20-30 metres further from the object, I glanced back, but there was nothing visible.

I kept this to myself for many years after this, I did however have some rather weird dreams. In the dreams, I'm lying in a small L shaped room, the far part of the L being an alcove, but the shape of the main part wasn't completely rectangular, as this side of the room was maybe 6ft across, but at the bottom of the room it was maybe 5ft across, with an alcove off to the left. I'm lying on what is like a bed, it it neither hard, nor soft, but the whole room emits a slightly blue, predominantly white glow - including the bed. Below me is another bed, someone is on it, and I think I know who it is. (many years later I ask the other person if they have ever had anything 'strange' like this - if they have, they truly do not know it.).

During waking hours, when I thought of these 'dreams' (which kept recurring over 3 or 4 years), when I thought about the dreams, I would get pains in my stomach, as if something metal was tightening around my innards.

As I said, it made no noise. It was very windy and it was very large. It flew at about 1000 feet and considering that it was very windy it flew straight and steady. No movement of the craft side to side like a plane would do in heavy wind.

we were at work it was 1.45am,outside the back of our factory there were no street light cause it was a yard at the time,me and my friend decided to go outside for a ciggarete,as we walked out the fire exit the whole area was alight,it was like broad daylight in the dead of the night,i turned round to say to my friend what the hell is going on,but to my amazement he had ran back into the factory screaming,i looked up and right in front of me about 60 feet away and anout 100 feet up was this large round object just floating there the light comeing off it was unreal,i managed to climb up onto a stack of pallets to get a closer look,as i watched it for about 10 seconds it suddenly shot straight up at tremendous speed,just then the fire exit flung open and about 4 workers came out shouting where is it i managed to point it out just before it vanished,ive nevver seen anything like it since.

Black Smoke Cloud accented with Dim Purple and Orange Smoke with a Trail of smoke that didn't dissipate quickly. The Black Cloud was Silhouetted by the glow of Edmonton in the distance but was still difficult to see.

Dark Rural Highway with a High Treeline on Boths Sides.

My Sister, her husband (lets call him Ed) and I were travelling East on Highway 16A towards Stony Plain Alberta at around 1am when we saw the object. We were about 5km west of Stony Plain at the Time. I was Driving and Ed was in the passenger seat. My Sister was in the back seat during this event and she never saw the object.

The Object was travelling from North to South at a constant speed. It never changed direction nor stopped. It appeared really far away and VERY large because it was moving so slowly and near the Horizon. It looked like a ball of smoke and it left a smoke trail behind it.

It was a Dark night and there was no Street Lights in that area so it was difficult to see. The only reason why Ed and I saw the object was because the smoke was Purple and Orange and the smoke trailing the object was also lit slightly with Purple and Orange (though the color did taper off the older the Trail was). The Smoke Cloud was mostly black against the night sky and the Purple and Orange was just dim accents to the smoke cloud. The light did not appear to be from a light source, rather it seemed to be a by-product of the smoke itself. (Like High Temperature Plasma)

If you hold your hand out at arms length, the object was about 2" accross. It was clear to me that there was something inside the cloud that was producing the smoke, though I never glimpsed it. The cloud trail was the same width as the object and was not Dissipating.

It seemed to be huge and moving at great speed but was being viewed from far away. It is possible that it was closer, smaller and slower. We first saw it as it cleared the treeline on the North Side of the Highway and lost it after it moved south of the Treeline.

From the Size and Trajectory it appeared to be flying over the Capital City of Edmonton though there was no mention of the object in the news or paper the next day or any day (to the best of my knowledge).

Ed, my brother in law saw the object as well but when I try to talk to him about what we saw, all he will give me is "I don't t know what I saw" and that is it. He will not describe what he saw, he refuses to talk about it. (He is very conservitive and does not believe in anything that he hasn't touched personally).

He is right though, I have no idea what I saw either. It doesn't seem to fit the classic UFO criteria. But if it was a metor, it would have been super bright and would have burned out in a couple seconds (we watched it for around 10 Seconds before we lost it). Also it was not falling to the Earth, it was moving perfectly Parallel to the Horizon. To give some perspective, at arms length it appeared approx 18" above the Horizon.

If I had to guess how far away it was, I would say at least 30km but I truely have no idea.

I was driving from Luton towards Harpenden at night when I saw to red lights which appeared to be drifting from East to West, at first I thought they were fireworks (rockets) but I realised they were not falling so I stopped the car and got out, there was no noise and I could make out a red beam of light coming down from each of them, I watched them for a couple of minutes until they passed over a hill and out of sight. I have no theory as to what they were but have always been puzzled by them and have never seen anything like that again.

Hello I was watching your New york CBSnewyork program when I saw something interesting on the screen when News anchor Elise Finch was speaking on the days weather. The time I saw the object was 6:47 when Ms.Finch says "We started the day with clouds" at that moment an object at incredible speed flies from the top of the screen for about 3 seconds and disappears. I'm not a crazed UFO fanatic but when I looked over the video on my Tivo i was perplexed on what it could have been. Any answer would be greatly appreciated thank.

My girlfriend and I took our dog for a walk on Allington hill (Bridport, Dorset) on a Sunday afternoon. The weather was glorious without a cloud in the sky and we decided to sunbath on the top of the hill and watch the Buzzards hunting. After a while of watching them my girlfriend pointed out a strange object just above us. I didn't see it initially but she said it appeared out of thin air and was shaped like a jumbo jet turned on it's side. By the time I had looked up it had changed shape to a round ball and was moving away from us slowly in a completely straight line. It was not a bird, a plane or a balloon. I truly believe it was either a real UFO or some military drone with a cloaking device or other strange technology

The UFO was about the size of 2 full moons that are low in the sky on a spring night. I describe it to be about the size of 747 getting ready to land at about a thousand feet and of equal size. It was football shaped but rounded at the ends. It had what appeared to be a light bar across the center. The light bar having about 6 large lights separated by a blank spot in the center. The lights ran across from left to right in a progression. The color went from yellowish to orange on the left then from orange to yellow on the right. It flashed across and then as the last light lit it disappeared and the vanished.

holding my arms at about 3ft wide and about 2 ft apart for the height. I say that the size would be if a 747 was coming in for a landing at about 1000 ft off the ground and was on approach to land at airport. I have seen this hundreds of times and that looked to me to be the height. in my guesstimate it was about 250 ft wide and 100 ft high.This is judging from what the length of a 747 is.

I was heading to my brothers house in Verbank NY on 5/10/13. It was a clear night and it was about 62 degrees out. I had my fiance -Michelle Langone ( age 37) in passenger seat and in the back of car were(behind me(asleep) my fiances son) Derrick Hulsen (age 13) in the middle my nephew Vincent Alaimo ( age 15) who was awake and engaged in conversation with my fiance and myself and also witnessed the UFO. behind Michelle was Dana Hulsen (age 16) (her daughter who was asleep also during sighting). I was driving North on the Taconic Pkwy ( I just looked at speed and i was doing 60 mph) I approached Fahnestock Pk @ Pudding St. ( we were traveling in left lane) it was a clearing with a treeline directly to my right. The UFO was a free floating , hovering and about 1,000 ft off the ground .As we approached the patch off trees (about 20 cars lengths) i noticed a football shaped object that had rounded edges hovering and floating free or any obstructions about above the treeline. It had lights across the middle that were separated. The lights flashed from left to right as if it was a light bar that had 3 lights on it and then a space of 3 blank spots then another 3 lights.The lights ran across from left to right and as the lights finished there progression the UFO craft disappeared. Vanished as fast as it was there, but not before Michelle and Vinny and myself all commented that we just witnessed a UFO over ( what we know to have )The Stone Chambers of Putnam County. As I passed trees I looked up in a complete clearing and saw nothing in the sky. I also glanced through the sunroof and saw nothing as well as a quick check in my side view and the rear view mirrors.

I have seen UFOs on Three separate occasions. 1991 my X Wife and I saw 3 UFOs over Middle Village Queens fly in formation and break into single file and then fly away for over a 2 min sighting. We Video taped it but later discovered just blurs and eventually taped over it. In 2008 my girlfriend but now fiance was with me and her 2 Children Dana and Derrick saw a UFO over Juniper Vally Pk in Middle Village Queens and that sighting lasted about 2 min solid. It zig zagged and changed positions instantly and and hovered at different heights then disappeared into the day sky.

I think that when you see a UFO it needs to be told, i don't like that people don't believe what we see and try to make light of the story we tell and the picture we paint in there minds. I have seen UFOs before and never told people, I'm letting you know what I have seen exists.
