We could see the object only the darkness that the object created by its enormous size and the lights at each tip formed a triangular shape.

The object was hovering over a community park which was approx. 4 acres in size. The object appeared to hover over the entire size of the grass area or larger.

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

The object was just over head and appear to be close by how large the darkened area of sky was.

This was observed in rural area of Peach Hill in Moorpark California.

I was on the sofa watching Johnny Carson with Bill and Cory was asleep. I could hear a humming sound but couldn't tell where it was coming from. I opened the front door of the house and the sound got louder. I called Bill over and he could now hear the same sound. We walked up the street towards the community park. (9 houses east from our house) We could hear the sound and could tell that it was coming from the sky, however when we looked up we couldn't see anything but darkness. I didn't realize how large the object was until I noticed the lights from the stars. Then following the shape where the stars could be seen the object was triangular in shape with a noticeable light at each tip. The object appeared to be larger the the grass area of the park, (approx 4 acres). The object was hovering overhead the entire time we were there looking at it with the humming sound. We were there on the corner of Laurelhurst looking up at this dark object for 10-15 minutes and heard it for an additional 5-10 minutes. Then while we were watching it the hum sound appear to get louder and in a SECOND it shot of in a southeast direction.

No this sighting could not be explained. The second witness was at the time a Signalman in the Navy reserves. His job was to identify foreign ships, aircraft and submarines. I asked him several times what that was and he insisted he had never seen. He retired from the military in 1990 and to this day when he his asked about that night he still says he never saw before or after that night.

In the distance, at first, it seemed like a car was in the air because there were two white lights. I know the area well, having lived here my whole life. I knew there was not a cell tower of any kind above the hill I was seeing. I pulled over, thinking I must just not be able to see it move as I drove. Sure enough, it just stayed there. I pulled out my phone to take a picture, but it was too far away. I called a friend who lived near where I was seeing it, but she couldn't see anything. I drove forward, about 1/2 mile and saw through the trees that it had begun moving from east to west. I was driving slowly south down a side street about 15 mph when it flew above us. It was dusk, so there was light, but it was getting dark. The shape was triangular and like nothing I had EVER seen - with three white lights on two sides and one red light at the tip. The kids kept saying, "Is it a helicopter? A plain?" I kept saying "no" because nothing made sense. It was only a couple of hundred feet above us and was the size of a jet plane, but made no sound. It moved low and slow (if the road had gone the way it was, I felt like I could have kept up with it at 30-50 mph). I looked at the road for a minute, then looked back at it, but it was just gone.

It could have been a plane, but none I had ever seen - too low, too quiet, too slow.

the evening was completley clear and bright with stars, I looked out of the window and noticed an object that was brighter than the other stars, I told my wife to take a look at it thinking it might be a plane, quickly we realized that the object was not moving in the sky like other planes that we could see , also the lights on the object were strobing intensley and the color changes were instant. we both could see that it was like nothing we had ever seen before, we called two neighbors to ask them to look and they both saw the object and agreed that it was definitly not a star or a plane, I used my camera on av to catch the object on video for 3 seperate 30 second shots,

At 2012 new year's eve, between 23:59 and 00:05, my husband and I were recording a video for our family. We live at Wood Green, London, and there's a Palace near of our home, it's called Alexandra Palace and we were pointing towards a orange light in the sky that we thought it was the anthem of the Palace.

But then we realized that it was not the direction of the Palace and we payed attention to the light and it started to move, to rise further to the sky. The light was not flickering and it didn't make a sound, it changed the direction towards us and flew above our heads, not near of us, but not too distant, still NO sound, and the velocity was something amazing. I have to say that, the velocity was NOT normal, and left us totally speechless, and I couldn't just stand there recording the hole thing...

When the light was reaching the point that wasn't above us anymore, it flickered and we saw a big round orange shape around the point of that orange light. My husband saw a cross in the middle of the thing, but I didn't. And then it just moved until we couldn't see no more.

No. The velocity and absence of sound was not normal.

We so big six or more lights. orange gold round shape no sound we took a phone pictures we cough 2 very bright lights.that lights it's very big very low about 150 feet going about the trees line so close to us we tough the was a air show for Christmas because was December 18 but we know soon the wasn't a show between each light it's 10 feet apart perfect line no sound those ligths hit south west the planet show at the sky was Jupiter the most bright they pass over the Everglades Florida. I'm concerned about danger this objects pass to close to a commercial airplane landing at that moment. This ligths pass under this airplane 9.10 pm this plane landing at west palm beach International airport I know we no have good radar for catch this different aircrafts.?something to think about.

They were orange-red, about 5 times larger than Jupiter and 1 magnitude brighter than Sirius that night. the light was constant and had been there for 4 minutes and faded at the rate of 5 seconds, the higher one first, then about 30 seconds later the lower one. They were to the east of Ursa Major.

If I stretched my arm out and placed a BB in between my fingers they would have been about the size of a BB. Also they were about 1 inch apart if I were to stretch my arm out.

I spent my New Year's Eve, bringing it in with the Universe, near Birthing Rock(near Moab, Utah). It was awesome, such a clear night, The Milky Way was beautiful. Orion, Perseus, Sirius, Polaris,,, Jupiter, were all magnificent. I saw 3 meteorites and right before midnight the Moon set. One of the best NEW YEARS, Ever!!! Then on my way back I came around the corner towards Moab, and there they were. Two orange lights. I don't know what they were, but they were ascending slowly and to the east of Ursa Major.They weren't helicopters.They were orange-red, about 5 times larger than Jupiter and 1 magnitude brighter than Sirius that night. I would have to guess about 2,000 - 3,000 feet above Sand Flats. I called the local law enforcement dispatch and asked if their deputies were reporting anything. I reassured her that I am not crazy, haven't had alcohol in months and I don't do drugs and as a matter of fact I used to work for this law enforcement agency. She suggested they were fireworks.. I advised her they were not fireworks, the light was constant and had been there for 4 minutes. Then, one faded quickly, then about 30 seconds later, the other faded quickly. UFO? I don't know...... But it was unusual and pretty awesome! : )

No. Nothing that I know of moves that slow. A helicopter could, but they would have to have a hell of a light on it. A flare would have descended not ascended. Hot air balloon, no, I've seen those light up at night, they show their shape. I can't think of anything and I know people I know think I'm crazy,,, but I know what I saw!

I work in a Domestic Violence shelter. my occupational history is that of Public Safety (yes my friends asked the standard are you crazy questions) FIrefighter, EMT, Paramedic, 911 Operator, Police Dispatcher... Artist, Massage Therapist. I am a mother of 2 sons 21 and 16 years old. Who believe in UFO's and are upset they didn't get to see them. LOL :) I have an Associates degree. I was reared to believe in God and ONLY God. That there are NO other explanations to unusual phenomena. I try to keep an open mind about everything and I have tried to think of an explanation for what I saw, but I can't .

Never like this. I've read the standard news reports on UFO's. My views, hmmmm. I love to star gaze. It is one of my favorite things to do. Not because I want there to be something out there. I just happen to think logically when I look up in the sky. There are billions and billions of possible "suns" out there. For us to think that we are alone in ALL of that, is well ridiculous. Have I ever seen a UFO or Alien, NO! Do I believe the possibility exists,,, YES!
