it was at night me and my friend lying down on the ground talking while looking up at the stars , at this time all airports across Europe were closed due to ash in the atmosphere with the volcano eruption in Iceland .But as we were talking we both noticed a star was moving a little bit then a light was flashing ,it slowly moved a little but then just shot off and disappeared , both of us were freaked out and confused as no planes were allowed in the sky and had not been so previous days before

no due to no planes were allowed in the sky and the object was still in the sky as we mistaken it for a star

As mentioned, the object looked to be a white/silvery disk with two antennae coming out of the top.

The object was no less than a mile away and up in the sky, thus any attempts to guess the scale would be futile. It would be like looking at a pinhead with arms outstretched.

Very rural area. A closed down radar station for Griffiss air force base is in the northern area of the town, close to where the object appeared.

I was in elementary school, but I still remember every little detail as if it were yesterday. I was shooting my BB gun with a friend in my back yard, facing North North East, when we say a stationary white dot in the sky. My BB gun was equipped with a scope (I believe a 3x-8x power) which we used to try to focus on the object. When I did so, I saw for a brief second that the object looked basically like any stereotypical UFO I'd ever seen! It appeared to be a white (possibly silvery, it was midday with the sun shining) saucer with two stubby little antennae sticking out of the top at approximately 90 degree angles (45 degree from vertical) from each other. This observation lasted perhaps 2 seconds before the object disappeared into thin air. Disappointed, we shrugged it off and continued to shoot the gun. Less than 1 minute later, the object reappeared. Again, I used the scope to try to get a look at the object and again, almost instantly, it faded out of view. This cycle repeated itself for at least 5 to 10 minutes, with the object reappearing and disappearing when we tried to look at it.

It was day so it wasn't a star/planet/sattelite/moon. I suppose it could be a military exercise experimentally testing physical invisibility devices, but you read my account of the sighting and tell me.

Saw a red glowing orb darting erractically way above me - then it took off at high speed.

It was about the size of a small truck, very high in the sky, moved super fast and I estimate it was a round 10' high in size.

Did not behave man-made, way too fast, and disappeared!

color orange pointing the light from the botom to the earth a very strong orange colour shape not sure it was a night ..more like a hat

at 0:38 min I saw flying light ball it was flying diagonaly up at the angal of 30 deegres, at the bottom was much lighter the shine ball was orange and it was with a constant speed "not very fast" and aproximatly 500 merats away from me.....I dont know what it was :)

In bedroom which has two windows and flat roof, extention part of bungalow.

A woke to a humming noise outside, I had two windows in bedroom, (we lived in bungalow at the time and my bit had a flet roof) the window opposite my bed had little lights various colours flickering all over it, the lights did not light up the room, then there was this quick explosive bang and everything disappeared. This happened in about approx 30 seconds. I jumped up woke whole house up thinking there had been a crash of some sort. There was nothing. The only thing I could find remotely close to my experience is a report in the local newspaper about reports of a humming noise, but it wasn't the same year. - July 27, 1984

A SPATE of mysterious, unexplained noises are heard by several people in Aldershot late at night.

The sounds seemed to cut through the atmosphere, filling the air with a loud humming.

Aldershot police said they were not aware of any problem of unexplained night-time noises of the type described.

An Army spokesman said the military had received many inquiries but could not offer any explanation about the sounds.

Thought a helicopter, but the noise is not like rotaries, its like the noise you can here if standing near an electric pylon, but 10 times loader.

It was 23:30 myself then 16 and my younger brother then 12 were taking the dogs for a late night walk. It was a clear night not a cloud in the sky in fact that very night we had spotted more than 5 shooting stars, anyway in the distance we spotted a light approaching us, as it got closer we stood still and we could see it was a large triangle with multi-coloured lights underneath.

It passed over our heads about two floors high and hardly made a sound we stood fixated as it passed us and then disappeared.

Sharp smoke trail, round shiny object.

I usually see smoke trails in the sky consistent with airplanes, except I don't know of an airport in the location where this activity occurs.
