The object was a flat disk. It was silver on top, black on the bottom. It tapered to a very thin tip at the edge. It was very far away, so it was hard to tell how big it was, but my guess is about 50-100 feet long and 30-75 feet tall.

It was by a golf course with some factories and office buildings about a mile away. Their were some mountais about a mile beyond that. It was in the desert.

I was in a hotel in Pheonix Arizona. It was about 6:00pm and I was looking at the mountains behind the golf course out the window. I noticed a shiny object moving away from me, towards the mountains. It was shiny silver on top, and black on the bottom. I grabbed my camera and managed to snap a few pictures before it went behind the mountains. It did not move slow or fast, mabe 60 mph. I could not tell how big it was because it was very far away. I guess that it was about 50-100 feet long.

Hello, I am an RN and I work in the hospice field. Last year I took care of a 75 year old cancer patient. He was completely lucid, not on medication, and presented as being very concrete and linear in his thinking...kind of an Archie Bunker blue collar type of guy. He told me that he was a pipe fitter at Groom Lake in the 60's and 70's..flew into work each day on the unmarked planes, etc. I asked him if he ever saw anything strange there (I was actually refering to aircraft like the SR-71)He told me no since his work party was always under guard and was always escorted while on the site. He did tell me that once they were being moved from from building to building along a sidewalk when all of a sudden they saw approaching them "4 or 5 little grey men and two soldiers escorting them" He said the soldiers starting screaming at his group "What the hell are you guys doing out here?!...face away!... turn around! etc." His escort soldiers began shoving them bodily against a wall so that there backs were turned to the on coming group. They shouted at the men "don't look!! don't f*cking look!!!" He told me that of course he tried to look out of the corner of his eye and he said that the men appeared to be about 3 1/2 to 4 ft tall had large heads, skinny limbs and walked with a very funny hopping/skipping gait...which he actually imitated for me. After they passed his group taken into a building, a major came in and read the riot act to them about signing that secrecy document and possible prosecution, etc., but the major never actually mentioned the incident He just "put the fear of god into us". I asked him what he thought they were and his only answer was "little grey men" I asked if he thought they were aliens, his reply was " Look, all I can tell you is that they were little grey men, I don't know what the hell they were." He told me that he pretty much forgot about the incident until about 6 months later he heard alarms going off and some fellow workmen(not in his party) were quickly shoved into his building to get them off the sidewalks outside. He said one of the guys said"They are probably moving the Noids again." "Noids?" He said. "Yes, humanoids, noids for short...you know, those things you guys saw last year...I've seen them twice myself, weird huh?" My patient never would speculate about what they were and only told his wife who thought it was funny(she was a sort of old school Edith Bunker type, lol). He seemed VERY credible and would never have mentioned the event to me if I had pushed him into recalling his past experiences ( this is a common practice in hospice care called life-review, it can be therapeutic for patients to talk about their past). Anyway, I thought you guys would really get a kick out of that story...crazy stuff huh?

I was on the beach in Bahia de Santo Antonio sunning in the morning around 10 o'clock. And there came a time when my girlfriend and I were taking pictures with my iPhone 4. And this time we coast into the sea and took our four shots in a row to record the moment. When you get home and see the result that he had seen a UFO in just one picture and the other did not show anything.

I was 8 years old, in Dorset UK, during 1998. My Mum, her partner and I were out walking our dog Charlie and it was near the end of the year so the nights drew in fairly early. We were out in a field and the sky was a typical midnight blue, the stars could be seen easily and it was surprisingly clear, with very few clouds. My Mum's partner called to me and pointed to the sky saying "Look! It's a UFO!". I saw four lights, one at the top, the other three below in a sort of 'smile' formation. The light at the top disappeared, and then reappeared to the right, to then 'swing' the four lights below it across the sky. It's very difficult to describe and certainly was very unusual. I didn't see any outline of a ship, plane, or anything, just these strange swinging lights.

It was a collection of lights moving so the only likely thing it might be is some sort of plane, but I don't know of any planes that have such a light formation.

They were shaped like stars, small circular dots. They were flickering and varied in colors of red, orange, and gold. Some red ones were very strong saturated red shades. They were very bright and all of them were visible until they reached the clouds.

To our eyes they were very small dots, maybe one inch with my fingers out. I have no idea what the actual size is because it could have been thousands of miles in the sky.

It is in a small town, not a lot of other lights around. It seemed to be coming from a rural place. Nowhere near a power plant or military base.

The lights made no noise. They were about the size of a star to our eyes. The varied in color but mostly shades of gold and red. They flickered slowly, not like a plane would but more like a planet does to our eyes. They were small and moved very slowly in a very slight curved line. They seemed to be coming from one point off in the horizon. From the horizon to where they disappeared in the clouds, there were usually about 5 or 6 of them in sight. Some moved to close together to be planes. They seemed to be pretty far up in the sky.

They could not have been man made because all of the lights were individual but some too close together to be man made because they would have collided. It is also unlikely that they were natural objects because they moved at a very slow pace, too slow for meteors, planets, shooting stars.

Editors note: This sighting appears to be, possibly, a sighting of chinese lanterns, which have candles inside of them and are filled with hot air. The move slowly through the sky, and several or many of them together.

I refer to the article by Ahmad Jamaludin, MUFON UFO Journal, No. 141, November 1979, entitled "Humanoid Encounters in Malaysia" and it brings to mind an encounter I experienced while attending the Methodist School Sungai Siput (4deg48min50.25secN, 101deg5min7secE) in 1979. I was in primary 3 at the time. What we saw that day had made an indelible impression in my mind, and I can recall the event with absolute clarity, even more than thirty years later. For everyone of us, there are events in our lives that leave a vivid memory in the mind that is as clear as if it occurred only yesterday; for me, this was one of those events. The whole event was witnessed by at least 150 students and teachers from my school and it created quite a stir at school in the following days and weeks. My sighting tallies with Mr Jamaludin's account of students seeing miniature aliens in Malaysia in 1979, which I distinctly remember hearing about in the newspapers about three days after our sighting. The craft that we saw would have been one of a suitable size for the miniature aliens in Mr Jamaludin’s accounts.

I am convinced that what I saw that day a UFO; a space-craft; not one of ours. I am an engineer by training, and have a strong background in the sciences. I can attest that what I saw on that faithful day in 1979 was not something of this world. The technology we witnessed was hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years ahead of human technology.

The incident I refer to occurred in the morning, about quarter hour before class commenced. I was on the third floor balcony of my classroom block, talking with my friends when we were interrupted by a commotion on the ground floor. We turned our attention to the source of the commotion, only to see students pointing in excitement towards the north-west direction (I confirmed the directions on Goolge Earth), towards a small clearing not more than 200 metres from where we were, and at lower elevation. It was at the edge of the school compound, next to some duck ponds. Immediately behind the ponds was a Malay kampung, screened by lush tropical trees, including coconut trees, which gave us a reference for the size of the craft. Set against the backdrop of lush green foliage on a clear day, the sphere stood out brilliantly, illuminated by the early morning sun to our rear, as it began its climb into the sky. We had a clear view of the craft throughout the whole episode. There was no mistaking what we saw.

As we directed our gaze in the direction of the craft, we saw that it was a solid, silvery-grey, metallic like sphere in the process of taking-off (lift-off). By the time I (and my friends) cast my eyes on it, it was probably about a metre off the ground and lazily climbing into the air on deliberate flight path. The object was the size of a weather balloon, but it was no weather balloon. Its climb took a well defined path, unlike weather balloons that seem to dance erratically, buffeted by changing air-currents as they climb.

What further differentiated it from a weather balloon was that the craft seemed to have its own propulsion system thrusting high pressure air to its rear as it flew. The air that was propelled by the craft was clearly visible because it left light contrails as it entered and exited the influence of the craft's propulsion system. The best, but by no means accurate, way to describe this is like smoke in a wind tunnel travelling over the top surface of an airplane’s wing during wind tunnel testing.

To us witnesses, the propulsion system appeared to be on the outside of the object, although we could not see any evidence of an engine. The propulsion on the craft system seemed to have the characteristics of a jet engine, except where in a jet engine the whole process of compressing gases for thrust occurs inside an engine casing, with this craft, the compression process seemed to occur on the outside of the craft; but what drove the propulsion system is a mystery to me as there was no visible indication of any moving parts. Whether it was some sort of electromagnetic or nuclear propulsion system, I can only speculate.

It was apparent that the propulsion system was very powerful. The craft appeared to thrust the air at a tremendous force. The force of thrust was sufficient to a create strong localised winds on the ground, blowing trees and shrubs in the localised area as if they were being caressed by a stiff breeze. The final thing that made the propulsion system stand-out in my memory was that it was silent; absolutely silent. Except for the faint sound of the trees rustling in the distance, there was no other sound emanating from it.

Once the craft had cleared the heights of the coconut trees it started to accelerate in its ascent. The craft rose to what must have been about a thousand feet, when small winglets seem to materialise. The craft then accelerated towards the East, towards the sun, at an incredible speed, continually climbing before disappearing into the horizon. No aircraft could fly as fast as that craft did, and it did not produce the characteristic sonic-boom. In its wake, it left all the witnesses bewildered.

After the incident we compared notes. Some of the students and teachers confirmed that they had seen the craft while it was landed, but could not make out any details. Shortly thereafter, they saw the craft hover, before commencing flight. The first I saw it when it was about one metre off the ground and already in flight.

I cannot explain why the craft had chosen to land in the vicinity of my school, in small-town Malaysia, of all places on the planet. The surroundings around my school may provide some clues. There had been a history of many extraordinary (I am reluctant to use the word “paranormal”) events, many of which have been witnessed by students and teachers, and even police and military personnel over the years, dating back from at least the second world war. We students had heard many of these stories long before the sighting took place. Also, there was speculation that the area itself had once been a tin mine. We don’t know this for sure, but what is clear is that the town of Sungai Siput lies on a belt of rich mineral deposits.

We did not report the incident at the time for two reasons. Firstly, it was unlikely that anyone would believe the incident, especially coming from a school in a small town in Malaysia. Secondly, there was a war between the Government and communist insurgents raging in the jungles surrounding the town. We were all aware that raising issues of UFOs in such a climate would only be an invitation for trouble.

You could feel heat off the UFO and it was 25 degrees outside. The craft had numerous lights all over it. Red, White, Blue, Yellow, Bright Purple, Green, and orange. Our home is located under a military zone but this was not a military plane. The noise was very loud. It never stopped just kept going to the North East. Most military planes that fly over always take the North West line.

I was inside my house with the door upon then i saw this thing in the sky. it was moving north. towards the ocean. i got up to look at and by the time i got there i got a glimpse of it but it was enough. it was 3 little lights in the form of a triangle.1 was redish 1 was blueish and 1 was white. it was pointing north.the blue light was on the front the red in the left back and the white the left back.after about 30 minutes the thing came back again and i tryd to show my brother but he missed it. my mom said it was just a helicopter but helicopters arent trianglerer and they make noise this didnt. it was rally strange and how it came back was weird.

There were about 30 or 40 of them, almost in lines of birds in flight headed out for the season. They were silver/white, not sure how to describe the shape. It was a bit dome shaped but we also were in a bit of a shock when we saw them.

Right by 8th and 49th, there is a very tall building right by the subway station, they seemed very far away from even the top of the building. I would say if you held an eraser up they would have been about that size at the end of the eraser.

Right by 42nd street, after the ball dropped. There were no fireworks, there was one helicopter but you could tell it was that. There were no street lights shinging up to that area and they were moving quick, slow, a few of them did a pryamid, and then they were gone as if nohting had been there at all.

My roommate and I were getting off work in Manhattan around 49th and 8th, right by the blue line, e, c, a, when we looked up and saw some very strange things. As we were walking down the sidewalk, at approximately 12:35 am, we saw a large group of unidentifiable silver/white objects in the sky. There were several lines of them and they were moving fast then slow, some even stopped. Approximately 9 to 12 of them formed pyramids in the sky then 3 also moved side to side as if enacting evasive moves in the sky. When we saw them they were between 47th and 50th street and closer to the east side rather than the west, where we were. I looked for other light sources and even saw a helicopter flying in the air above us for whatever was being filmed or watched. I was New Years Eve near Times Square after all.

As we watched the formations and the objects move against the background of our solar system, they disappeared. Even after walking around the block and searching for anything in the sky that would indicate they were weather balloons or a mass of airplanes or anything but what we saw, they were gone. As if they never existed. We noted the time as 12:54 am when we decided to go home to Queens, Yes I understand we live where 3 of the captured UFO’s already are, and considered ourselves very lucky to see such an unexplained event.

We both would say, since we had no time to count them or document what we had seen, there were approximately 30 to 40 of the objects that were in the sky, they came and went quickly, and we are not sure if anyone else even saw them.

I know there are things out there that are not explainable. I had never seen a situation like this before, I find no explination for what my roommate and I saw, and I am Wiccan. I have read a fair ammount of information but never have incountered this situation personally. The first thing I knew I needed to do was write down the information and just get it out there so people would know, hopefully someone would be able to shed some light on it or at least have it confirmed by others.
