Appearance / Description of Object(s)

a small dot but it is actually 3 bright circles and when you magnify it it looks like a spiral shape with 3 bright circles and greenish pink,yellow lines linking it together.

Size of Object(s)

its hard to say as sky was clear but we would estimate from where we were that it was slightly bigger than the satellite you can see from earth with your naked eye{sorry,we dont know the name of the satallite}

Distance to Object(s) & Altitude

again we are unsure, but it seemed to move through what light cloud there was.

Description of Area / Surroundings

we are an urban area, houses,shops etc,not far from the city centre.and glasgow airport is about 5 miles from us to our right.

my college and myself work as nightshift porters in a hospital,my college went outside for a cigarette,moments later he came in and said"come see this"we went out and he pointed skyward directly in front of us and i saw multi coloured lights.they seemed to belong to these three circles which were set in a triangular shape,it was coming from our right to our left but then stopped dead for a few seconds,after that it moved in a straight line away from us before fading and dissapearing from our view..the sky was clear, apart from a couple of stars and some light cloud and we saw nothing else.we got a picture on our mobile phone and all you see is dark sky and a small dot {it looks like a star} and when you zoom in it becomes a multi coloured spiral type object the likes of we have never seen before.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

we are both secondary school leavers who left school with no qualifications. we both work in a hospital as porters,i am 52 and my college is 41 and worked here for 9 and 15 years.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

im unsure although not a disbeliever,this is something neither of us has seen before and we are now curious.i have read eric von dienachens books chariot of the gods etc and they made me think about whats out there,surely due to the size and infinity of the universe,we cant be the only planet to have evolved.

Other Comments

we have never seen the likes of this before and it has set our curiosity pure mental. so we are trying to find out what it was.
