Appearance / Description of Object(s)

It was a flat disc that had red and white light alternating, it shined in the moonlight, and between the alternating lights, there were small, square windows.

Description of Area / Surroundings

I live close to a Naval Weapons station and the area is both rural and urban I would say.

I was just about to go to bed at around 9:00p.m. when I heard an unusual noise outside. I put my robe on, and walked outside. That night it was a full moon and I could see fairly well, along with my porch light. I saw something hovering a few blocks down my street that had alternating red and white lights, was flat, and had small, square windows around it's edge. I was curious so I walked over, but as I did, the object started to move away at amazing speed. Before I knew it, It was gone and it seemed like a normal night.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

Defnetly not man-made. It was something to fast to be made by man.

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I didn't believe in U.F.Os until then. I thought that people just made things like that up.
