My friend has no interest in reporting the incident, but I believe there is no other explanation for the markings she found on her leg when she woke up on January 24, 2012. She discovered a large ringed pattern on her leg, with 4 quadrants of 9 dashed lines each surrounding an area of symmetrical dots. (see attached photo). The marks appeared as a sort of "burn", rather than bruising and they did NOT match any object in the house.

She went to the doctor who was perplexed and somewhat alarmed, as was my friend and her husband. She took a picture and posted it on facebook and emailed it to her friends for possible explanations.

I have had no previous interest or particular opinion of extraterrestrial life, one way or another, but I honestly believe this could be some sort on non-invasive probing, likely done remotely, on skin that could have been exposed in the night. (I feel strange even saying these words!)

The mark disappeared in a few days with no residual side effects or symptoms
