the above box pretty much describes it the only other thing i can add is that it was a very dark grey in color

we were in the middle of know where wyoming, there wasnt any towns or houses for miles

it was approx. 3:30am driving on interstate 80 thru wyoming in the middle of nowhere when we crested a small incline and hovering over the freeway was this craft not more than 100 feet above us. we proceeded to drive and as we are passing underneath the whole area is lit up like a stadium. about every 20-30 yds there was an octagon shaped protrusion on the part of the craft that we could see above us. this is where the light was comming from, brilliant white light. but when we passed underneath the protrusions we could see not brilliant white light but what looked like very vibrant colors all melting together like the old hippie days. we drove for maybe 30 seconds underneath it, there was no sound coming from it as it passed to one side of the freeway far enough to wher we could see one side of it. there was no windows no wings and at this point the brilliant whit light started to dim and about 50 yds off the freeway it took off and was across the sky and out of sight in maybe 2-3 seconds. i thought it was the coolest thing ever. my mom didnt think so we had to stop at the next rest stop and let her calm down.
