It was a urban area. I was in the 2nd floor apartment, and the airport was right down the street from me.

I lived in an apartment at Lost Nation Apartments in Willoughby Ohio. It's been so long, but it was either in 1973 or 1974. I went into my bedroom to get something and as I passed the window, I see this v formation of lights. I called the children to come see the lights, they did, but they were young and werent really interested after looking. I didn't think much of the incident...ufo's the farthest thing from my mind. I was in the livingroom with the tv on , I was reading , when the news came on and reported a ufo sighting over Lost Nation Airport which was right down the street from me. Right away I realized this was what I had seen. It's been so long and I've told people about it, but I am really surprised that I couldn't find to much about this incident. It's made me a believer ever since.

Can sighting be explained as any conventional man-made or natural object?

No....there was nothing going on at that time that would or could explain anything different. Why would the local news station say it was a ufo sighting if it wasn't ?

I am retired now, but I have done secretarial work, bank cashier, and microfilm tech work. Raised 5 children. And of sound mind !!

Views on UFOs, before and after sighting

I had heard of ufo sightings before, at the time it didn't interest me...but Iam a firm believer since then.

Other Comments

I was just wondering why there is no mention at different ufo sighting sites about this one incident. I know it happened, was on the new, but can't find any info on it.
