I was driving back from Seattle, it was late, about 11-12 in the night. There was a car in fromt of me and behind me. We were winding our way along the highway between Soap Lake and Coulee City, Washington. When we saw what appeared to be a Glowing Blue Orb, or ball on the east side of the horizon. at first I thought I was looking at a shotting star because of the speed. Then I realized that it was on a direct path and it was inside the earths atmosphere. This thing was traveling at an incredible speed. It took about 3-5 seconds to get from one horizon to the next traveling west. We stopped instantly because the car of front of me stopped. Everyone got out of the cars. There was about 8-10 witnesses. Everybody was quite confused about what they saw. There was absolutely no sound coming from this aircraft. It was midsummer in Eastern Washington so it was quite warm, and at the time my car had no A/C so I had the windows down.
