My father was stationed at the Meridian Naval Air Base in Meridian Mississippi. A friend and myself were going into the town of Meridian when I noticed the object in the sky. I called it to the attention of my friend. The object was traveling at a very high rate of speed. Stopped in the sky, changed direction, took off again, stopped and then was gone in a flash. This sighting made the front page of the Meridian paper. If I am recalling correctly, the headlines read "UFO SIGHTED IN TWO NEIGHBORING COUNTIES". I believe the county for Meridian was Lauderdale.

Others need to wake up and realize that we are not alone. I was at a gathering of 4 people one evening. The UFO subject came up. All but one person had had a UFO experience. You figure those odds. None of us were aware that the other had had an experience. There were two other people that could have been there and that would have made 5 out of 6--all different years and different states. I am presently trying to get a friend to share his experience with your sight. His sighting is in Project Blue Book and he was personally interviewed by Dr. Hynck in 1965.
