it was the late 80s i was living at home at the time with just my mom and dad i was in my room reading and my mom was in her bedroom reading and my dad watching tv

in the den it was about 10 pm i had the shades down all of a sudden i hear something

approaching with an engine sound like nothing ive ever heard before i wish you could hear me imitate the sound for you but anyway what ever it was it was really close to the house all of a sudden there was a bright bright light so bright it was screaming through the sides of the window shades it looked like daylight for a moment then

all the power went out in the house and as soon as it was out of ear shot the power came back on it was very strange and i remember my dad saying what the hell was that ?!?!! it kind of spooked me a bit to tell you the truth i often wonder if anyone else

had experienced that event in naugatuck all those years ago thanks for listening
