Full Description & Details

Stepped outside onto our patio and where there has never been lights near the horizon, saw twobright lights and there was a third ,just like them but more to the south. The direction I was looking was southwest. The two that were seemingly closer together just "vanished" and after several minutes another ball of light came into view with the one that I had mentioned was alone/ My husband brought out the spotting scope as seeing these lights was most unsusual. ( Other than appearing and disappearing there was no other obvious movement) With the spotting scope we were not able to bring them into focus --but the one we looked at seemed like a red sun--but very distant.

I must say that I am most remiss in not having taken a pictures of this very strange phenonmena. Additionally, in my 60 years, I have never seen anything like this. If there is a palusible reason for this occurence or if anyone else saw this, I would appreciate the information.

Just interested if others sawe same thing and if there is an explanation. I do not deny he possiblity that there is creditability to some sightings. In fact, I think it is narrow minded to believe that we are alone.
