Looked dark grey but distance makes it hard to say.

Full Description & Details

Myself and 3 friends were walking across our university campus in the early evening. The sky was still light, it was a nice summer evening with a few large clouds in the sky. I saw an unusual craft high in the sky (I wouldn't even attempt to estimate altitude with any accuracy), it zipped across the clear sky and disappeared above one of the large clouds (so it was obviously above the height of these). I asked if everyone had seen it and everyone had. It was it's speed and unusual shape which caught our attention.

It moved very rapidly across the sky, faster than planes do. The shape was like a round bit at the front (or at least in the direction of travel) with 2 prongs jutting out behind. Strangely, it looked like the Enterprise from Star Trek would look from beneath, except without the middle section, just the saucer and the two trailing prongs.

The sighting was over so quickly, but we were all sure of the shape, and sure we hadn't seen anything like it before, or since for that matter.
