Full Description & Details

From our lake house 18 km north of Goderich Ontario on the shore of Lake Huron, three bright orange lights in loose formation were observed traveling east using what appeared to be the same flight route taken by commercial aircraft, but twice the normal speed. The lights appeared to be trailing debris of some kind, also orange in colour that flickered. Lights were traveling at constant altitude. We watched the lights for about 2 minutes until they were too far away. Lights were constant and did not flash or vary in intensity; trailing "debris" appeared to flicker. No engine noise was heard.

Within 10 minutes a folliowing commercial aircraft was observed on the same route. Flashing running lights were visible and jet engine noise was heard.
