Full Description & Details

In 1974 approx. while on security patrol at RAF Brize Norton at midday, clear blue sky, myself and a collegue saw a bright orange object leaving a thick vapour trail some distance away. We watched for about a minute, not really making too much of it, we put it down to an aircraft using engine reheat. That evening the ITV news showed our object. Apparently an ITV crew were filming in Banbury and they spotted it and filmed it. The interesting thing about it was that it still appeared as a orange sphere even from their location, so it wasn't an aircraft, it was unidentified.
