Full Description & Details

The lights seemed to have been projecting from the top and bottom of the shape as I could make out the edges of the shape (which were wider than the top and bottom) but the light around the edges was dimmer. There were no coloured lights at all. The shape was very close to me...about the height of a plane when it is taking off (600ft?).

It was basically parked...as if hovering and didn't seem to be moving at all. I should have taken a picture but I was very tired and eventually, I just went to bed. So, I have no idea if it took off. I can say that I have NEVER seen anything in the sky like this. It was much too large to have been a star and it couldn't have been a plane because of its shape and because of the fact that it was "hovering". Gotta say...I am creeped out now!
