Full Description & Details

the object appeared to be a shooting star at first , then stopped about 1/2 mile from our home . i thought it may be a plane or helicopter but the movements and lack of sound made us look longer. noticing the light turning in a circle we stared at it . then lightning flashed and it looked like an upside down drinking glass silver and . approx. the size of a passenger jet. it continued north and stopped several times untill flying off into the horizon. has anyone ever reported one like this?. we called the sherrif but of course they didnt care .
