Full Description & Details

My wife and I had just left my parents home, and were traveling east on hiway 70 in Garner NC.

I noticed a bright light in the sky ahead and to the right of us. It really didn't look like landind lights, or any type of search light. This light was more golden in color than anything I had ever seen. We took the hiway 50 south exit in an attempt to follow this light. We followed for 1.5- 2 miles, catching glimpses of it through the trees. This thing

came over the trees and stopped directly above the road. It just hovered there at about

40-50 feet high, completely silent. We stopped directly underneath it and and just watched. It was about 40 feet in diameter I believe it was circular in shape, although it was tilted at quite an angle and appeared somewhat eliptical. It was black in color.

The bottom was not flat, it had a row of elongated "portholes" that protruded beneath the craft. We could see a deep blue light through these ports. Additionally, we could see shadows that suggested movement through them. It was not perfectly still, it kind of bobbed, like a float on water. I flashed my headlights in an an attempt to get some response, but there was none. We sat under it a couple of minutes. I decided to drive up the road and view the profile of this thing. We drove about 1/4 mile to a side road and looked back. It was gone. I believe I caught a glimpse of something moving off to the north west, but it disappeared so quickly I couldn't be sure.
