Full Description & Details

I was on the net until 2:30am. I went outside and noticed an orange light that I assumed to be a house light on the hill across from the hill I live on. For some reason I watched this light for a few seconds and it began to move slowly. I thought it was a person with a light. It then rose into the air and began to fly in a curious repeating pattern, a triangular pattern, slightly erratic. I thought someone had a device on a string or something. After about a half-hour the object switched on a twin bank of lights, which revealed itself to be a saucer shaped craft. The lights only came on for a couple of seconds and they only were turned on several times.

After around an hour, the craft reduced the intensity of the orange light and descended and stopped moving. I phoned my son in California to tell him what I was watching and a friend in Perth. I thought of phoning friends here but I was uncertain if the craft would remain for any length of time and the hour was very late, wish I had called some friends.

While the first object was still and dim, I watched what looked like a star rise over the peninsula from the ocean side of the hill. This white starlike object then floated over towards the first craft and stopped above it. It then proceeded to move to the ocean side of the hill where the first craft was and when they looked to be out of the line of sight of one another, they began a series of totally synchronised movements, almost like a perfect dance.

The second white object was rectangular and self-effulgent. It then moved over the sea and then flew back to the hill again.

I resolved to stay watching until sunrise, but a rainstorm blew in and they were gone when the clouds passed.
