Full Description & Details

we were driving on HWY 95 (?) through Georgia at night and suddenly saw a huge

light beam shining out of the forest straight up into the sky. the amazing part is that this

beam was splitting into three light beams approximately 1000 feet above the ground.

i stopped the car and we whatched it in disbalief for about a minute. then suddenly

the whole sky lit up with millions of blue lights like a gigantic firework. The rays first expanded and then contracted with a sound as if you were inside of a vacuum cleaner.

I pressed on the gas pedal to get the hell out of there and suddenly the engine backfired

with flames shooting onto the windshiled. We drove for about 5 miles with the engine constantly backfiring and finally came to a res area. I took the carberator appart and

couldn't find anything wrong.

when we got to Florida I took off the manifold (350 Chevy V-8) and found that one of the pushrods was bent like a bow.

A local mechanic told us that it was the first time he ever seen a pushrod bend in this

fashion.

whatever we saw that night it surly was out of this world.
