Full Description & Details

I was inside cooking dinner on May 31@ about 7:30 PM when my brother called me outside. He had been warching a ball of light, that he had initially thought was a star. After about 3 or 4 minutes of watching he called me out because the "star" was moving, and he knows that I am an avid skywatcher. I came out with my camera just in case it was something worth seeing. (I have a Sony Cybershot 3.2 megapixels) What I saw was VERY high in the sky, and truly looked like a star, but I've never seen a star move before. This object hovered in the same spot for about 5 minutes after making a very slow progression from East -West. We both watched it make it's move across the sky, then stop. While it hovered it seemed to glow for a bit, maybe a minute or so, then it slowly faded away. It was almost like an aparition, not really there. My son and daughter came outside to see, but I'm not sure either of them saw anything. I did take 2 pictures of the light which I can submit if needed.

Witness Background

39 y.o mother of 5, occupation cook, education nursing school. This is NOT my first sighting, however it is the first in 25 years. The first time I saw a UFO I was 15, and lived in CA. There were 2 balls of whiteish/yellow light sitting over the ocean like bouys. They were very fast, taking off in opposite directions. That sighting was also witnessed by the young man I was dating at the time.
