We were heading back to the dock because it was getting quite late so we had to go about another 4 miles through the canyon. We had already put the navigation lights on the boat for visibility purposes for our own safety and others. One of them kept shorting out flikering quite rapidly. My attention was caught by everyone on the boat when they said holy shit what the hell is that?! I look down the canyon about a thousand yards or so to see this amazing light jumping all over the canyon walls.(was not yet in sight) Then this circular white light comes halling ass around the canyon into our visibility then shoots straight up , like it saw us and freaked out. It then shot down about a 500 yrds. behind us and around another canyon wall! We all were amazed and at the same time scarred as all hell. So we stepped on it back towards the dock. We hadn't seen it again untill bam there it was again! This object kept doing this repeaditly over and over never getting to close, as bright as the sun. then boom it was gone shooting sraight up into the dark sky appearing to be a shooting sun then came this very loud boom. shaking the boat with a queer rumble. After sharing this experience with my science teacher who is not a big fan of ufos or any other intelligence outside of our plantet explained that boom could have been the object breaking the sound barrier.
