Full Description & Details

I was looking out the window toward the north east at about 11:00 PM on the 18 of Sept and I saw four curious lights, three of the four lights were in a triangle formation with the fourth light off the front at about 11 o'clock. They were moving east to west. The lights glowed amber quite like dim street lamps. They moved quick ! Altitude was about 1500 to 1800 ft. The four lights moved too fast for NYC air space. I saw them for about 5 seconds due to their speed and buildings blocking my sight. The lights made no sound and had no directional lights. One would hear a great roar if these lights were military air craft. And only the military can probably fly in formation around NYC.
