Full Description & Details

As I was driving with my wife we first saw a blue light in the distance. As we got closer we then saw a red light also. As we came up on the object we saw the white light and then the object looked triangular. In between the lights you could tell that it was a darker space than the night sky. We were on the highway and the hovering object was above a field right by the highway. It was probably about 500 feet above the ground and it was stopped in mid-air. We stomped on the brake (we were already going slow because we had been watching the object for a couple of miles) and rolled our window down and we could not hear sound coming from the object that was very near to us. If it were a helicopter we would have been able to hear it from where our car was. We flipped the car around and the object took off. We tried to chase the object, but could not keep up to it. After we drove a couple of miles we could no longer see the object.
