My wife and I were sitting in our backyard and it was a full moon. I was taking various pictures of the moon at different zoom settings. I have a Canon Power Shot S1IS 3.2 mega pixel with a 10x optical zoom. I didn't notice anything that night; however, as I stated above when I zoomed in on the pictures while on my PC is when I noticed something. It was fairly breezy that night with some clouds that would intermitently hide the moon or do so partially. At other times the sky would be perfectly clear in the direction of the moon. While looking at the pictures I noitced that above the moon was a cylindrical object that wasn't in the previous shots and thought it was odd since all the pictures were taken from the same angle as I was seated in a lawn chair pointing at the moon. When I zoomed in the object although not real clear it appears to be cylindrical with colored red lights around the object. Another shot taken of the moon with clouds around it has a small object in between the clouds and my wife noticed it. When I zoomed on that object it definitely looked geometric in shape almost like a pyamid. I would like to have someone look at the pictures and provide an oppion as to what they possibly are.
