driving westwards on A27 towards Lewes near Mount Caburn when we spotted a bright light hovering on the left side of road in sky.We made a joke about ufo's then futher on it moved to the right side of road about 3 hundred yards away and approx. 2 hundred ft up?I asked my son(who is six) to remember every detail so he could draw it then when I could have a look I saw a triangle or diamond shape with lights on the underneath connected by bands of light from each light.What my son drew was different,almost a humped back shape with three lights mounted on the front.Did he seee the side view I wonder?What made me wonder was that this was NOT an ordinary aircraft so perhaps it was connected to the MOD?

Very unusual,enough to bother me to do this and search on the net for somethng that looked like it,which I have found.

I am not a crank so this is not the sort of thing I would report but thought you might like to know of our experience.John
