on watch on naval aircraft carrier with officer of the watch,sighted an orange ball moving at great rate of speed over pensacola bay,approximate altitude about 300 feet flying straight line in relation to horizon.stopped abrubtly hovered and lowered itself int o the bay.no report was ever entered into the log book,
